Animal Profile:  Rupert is about a year old, Irish terrier mix (best guess) who weights around 50 pounds. He will be joining us from California on 3/29. Our volunteer transporter reports that he is super sweet and gentle, but still a little shy. He will need slow interactions. Rupert will do well with another dog in the home to show him the ropes. We will post more info as we get to know him! *** We will only consider applications with a friendly resident canine in the home *** Seattle Foster Update: Coming Soon! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $500 which includes his neuter, all core vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a federal 501c3 organization. Apply online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application About Foster to Adopt Program:  Fosters provide a safe landing spot for dogs transitioning from the shelter environment and help prepare the dogs for adoption. You provide the love and structure, and we take care of everything else! We cover all vet care, and drive the adoption process. Average length of foster is 2-3 weeks. Fosters do get first consideration for adoption, if desired.  Apply to foster online at www.doggoneseattle.org/foster-application

Animal Profile:   Jax is a big, sweet, affectionate boy who loves people and other dogs! He gets along with almost any dog he meets and does well on leash. Jax arrived from Kauai Humane Society on 3/26 and we will update his profile as we get to know him. Adoption Info:  Adoption fee is $500, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, heartworm test, and flight from Hawaii. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.  Animal History:  This dog was transferred from our Kauai Humane Society rescue partner (Arrival Date Thursday 3/26). This dog will be available for adoption in Seattle once evaluated. Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org
