Hello! My name is Nyla and I was born around 5/2016 and am listed as a pit mix. I love my people and follow rules very well. I am good at reading body language and am very easy to train. I eat all my food at once. I want to be in my crate when home alone. I love car rides and I love all things outdoors. I run, walk, chase small animals and bark at cats and birds. I want nothing more than to snuggle and make my people happy. I love to sit on my foster Mom's lap and give hugs. Even though I love my people, I require being the only animal in my own home. I'm a princess and I have boundaries that I hope my people will understand and respect. I am a good visitor at other doggy homes though!

I am looking for an active human companion(s) that are active and will take me on walks or runs or let me pull them on a bike. If you're not into being active then I would love a yard I can run in and protect from birds,squirrels and cats.

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process includes adoption application which can be completed at our website wagsmn.org. Current fees can also be accessed on our website. After reviewing your application, a meeting is scheduled between you and the pet in the foster’s home or a neutral dog friendly place. If there are any resident dogs in your home, it is required that the dogs meet at this time. After the meeting, a home visit is scheduled and, if everything goes well with the visit, the adoption is finalized. A home visit by one of our representatives is required prior to finalizing any adoption, and we must meet all members of the household where the pet will be living sometime during the adoption process. We reserve the right to refuse any applicant for any reason Adoption fee includes: vet exam(s), spay/neuter, de-worming, heartworm test (if 6 months of age or older), vaccinations, microchip, and FIV/FeLv testing (for cats only). Please come see us at Petsmart on the 2nd Saturday of each month in Eagan (Petsmart 1297 Promenade Pl, Eagan, MN 55121); 4th Saturday of each month in Richfield (Petsmart 1100 W 78th St, Richfield, MN 55423); and the 3rd Sunday of each month in Maple Grove (Petsmart 11200 Fountains Way Maple Grove, MN 55369). We will have many adoptable dogs, puppies, and maybe a kitten or two that are able to attend for public viewing... please stop in and play! If you are interested in a specific dog or cat from viewing our available animals at wagsmn.org, please email us in advance of an adoption event (wagswhiskersmn@gmail.com), and we will do our best to have them at the event.
