Story
Skylar has had a rough life and needs more love than I can give right now. She has separation anxiety that can lead to being destructive and I don’t have the money or time to get her the proper training she needs. She’s great 1 on 1 and is the most loving dog in the world once she warms up. She’ll need someone with patience and time. She means the world to me and if I wasn’t renting she’d be with me for life. Please take good care of her

Story
Blossom is a sweet, loving, beautiful dog. She's about 6 years old, looks like a lab beagle mix. She came from a house in the country where she had a lot of space to run. When her original owner passed away she came to us, but she needs more time and attention than we can give her. She is very friendly with people, but occassionally doesn't get along with other dogs. We already had another female dog when Blossom joined the household anout 2 years ago. The two have been have been doing okay, but Blossom recently started being more aggressive towards the other dog. She would do best in a house where she is the only dog, or maybe shared home with a male dog. What she really needs is a home where her owner is able to take her on walks daily, or twice a day. She will reward you with so many kisses and cuddles. We really really dont want to send her to a shelter or rescue, she is a wonderful dog who just needs the right home. Please help!

Story
I agreed to foster Charlie for a student, who could no longer look after him due to a variety of circumstances, until I could find a new permanent home. Charlie is a 3 yr old Beagle mix. He is super loving and affectionate when he has warmed up to his owner. He loves to snuggle on the couch and sleep on the bed. He is 37 pounds, beautifully cared for, soft smooth coat and soulful eyes! He is up to date on his shots and is neutered. He loves to sniff on his walks, lie in the sun, chew sticks and run in the yard. He is quite anxious, due to some trauma in his puppy-hood. He is anxious of new people and dogs and can react with barking. I have grand kids and feel he is unpredictable with kids, so an adult home with no other animals would be best. He needs a confident dog owner who can manage his anxious, and reactive behaviors. He has received a lot of training with his first owner and can follow basic commands. He is house broken and has been an indoor dog. He is adorable.

Please review our Adoption Process before filling out an application.Randy was rescued in february from the streets of Ensenada by a good sam when he noticed him zig zagging through traffic. He had skin mites and skin infections but is now looking pretty great. He is likely a small to medium breed who will grow to be in the 25-35 lb range when full grown. He is a sweet little guy who is good with cats, dog and people, he was fostered in baja and is now in san diego but is not getting sterilzied until mid april at which point he can be adopted, although we would love to have him in a foster to adopt home until that surgery day and can then finalize his adoption. Story
Tesha is a good dog but has a few issues.  Tesha is incontinent and is unable to control her bladder. She's about 3 years old and is a basset hound breed.  She can be aggressive with any other animals so it is best that she be in a home as an only animal in the home. She is blind in one and has chronic skin issues that will need attention daily. She can be very loving with certain individuals but does not like strange females as all. She has a fun black white and brown spotted coat. Her little tail always wags when she is happy.  She is a very loud barker but is able to be calm in the mornings but can bark at night a lot. She has been fixed and is up to date on all vaccines.  Please contact info@bajadogrescue.org. We do not have a central location to see our dogs.  Meeting dogs is by appointment only currently.
