We got Bella at petsmart and the reason I can’t keep her anymore is because of my apartments. Bella is very energetic but she also loves to cuddle and just run around.

Story
*Hudson is currently in a foster home during our COVID closure. If you would like to meet him, please complete an application online at https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/*Meet Hudson! Hudson is a handsome 6 year old (approx), male, Beagle/Shepherd mix, who weighs 30 Lbs and is now looking for his furever home. He was originally found on 01/26/2020 off of Kings Pass in Heath and never reclaimed. Hudson is almost completely blind but he does not let that bring him down. He is a genuinely sweet boy who gets along with other dogs, older kids and seems to be housebroken/crate trained. Hudson does need a little work on a leash. If you have other dogs in the home feel free to bring in your dogs for a meet and greet prior to adoption Hudson would love to meet them! He does not do well with cats! His adoption fee is $125 which includes his neuter, rabies vaccination, microchip, heartworm test and boosters to date. Hudson is heartworm positive and will need to go through treatment once adopted. The vast majority of Hudson's treatment is covered through a local organization we have partnered with called Rockwall Paws. Adopters pay on average $30-$60 during the course of treatment usually for a medication that may be prescribed. Once treated, Hudson can go back to living a full and healthy life one this sweet boy really deserves! Please feel free to ask staff if you have any questions or concerns about heartworms and the treatment. Come by and meet Hudson today! All animals unless otherwise noted in their descriptions are at 1825 Airport Road, Rockwall, TX. Story
zzJelly was born December 15, 2018 and has a very sweet and patient personality. She was extremely loved and well cared for by her owner who recently passed away. Her owner had no children so zzJelly was raised with much love and attention. zzJelly worked with a dog trainer when she was a puppy (not because bad behavior) so she knows many commands. zzJelly is healthy since she went to the groomers and also had her health checked regularly. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and heartworm preventatives. She is friendly with dogs but I'm unsure about cats and children. I'm hoping that Jelly finds a loving family with a yard.Disclaimer: This dog is a participant in the Paws in the City Guest Dog Program, so ongoing care and custody are provided by the foster, not by Paws in the City. To meet this dog, contact info@pawsinthecity.org, or the foster Alex at aw4520011@gmail.com

Story
Meet Brody, a 4 year old Beagle/Hound mix who was found as a stray. He is about 34 lbs. of sweetness who gets along well with other dogs and children but he has not been tested around cats. Brody is house and crate trained, rides well in the car, and sits for his treats. He came to us with heartworms but he has undergone treatment recently. Brody does not like loud noises and prefers to play with his toys by himself. He is a bit skittish but very loving. Brody would do best in a household with older children and a good size fenced yard so he can squirrel watch. We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.

Story
Do you love the sweetness of a senior dog? If so, Rocky might be a great choice for you! Rocky is a Beagle/Min Pin mix who weighs 27 pounds and may be around 11 years old. Rocky is a very sweet dog who is cuddly and friendly. He has learned some commands like sit, wait, down, and catch. He walks well on the leash and does well with bathing, nail trimming, and brushing. Rocky gets along and plays well with the two dogs in his foster home. He likes to ride in the car, play with his plush toys, and give/get cuddles. He also gets along with cats and human strangers. He is starting to get used to the crate, but still whines when he is in it. Rocky would do well in a home with other dogs, but tends to be possessive of food, so an experienced and patient owner might be more suitable. Poor Rocky was surrendered to a shelter by his owners after 10 years but we have no idea why. We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application.
