There are wonderful people in this world who walk into an animal shelter and ask to adopt the dog or cat that has been sheltered the longest. Not because this animal is unadoptable, but because he’s been overlooked, perhaps by the allure of a baby puppy or purebred dog. When these folks arrive home, however, this newly adopted pet quickly becomes part of their family, and a life-long companion.Adam is such a dog. He is almost two years old and is an 80-pound border collie/lab mix. Adam has been with his foster mama and dad almost his whole life, so he’s very well socialized and does well with other dogs – large and small. In fact, he would love to have a family with another four-legged companion. Adam LOVES to play and take long walks, but he especially loves to be with his people when it’s time to relax or take a nap.Adam is crate trained, leash trained, and house broken. He rides well in the car, knows his inside manners, and listens when spoken to.Feel free to contact MAA with any questions you may have about Adam.
