Story
Theodore is a smart and sweet short haired border collie. He came from a breeder who kept him in a crate in a garage for months by himself. He bonds fairly quickly but is scared around new people and situations. He is looking for a quiet environment with perhaps a retired person with room to run in a fenced yard or an agility trainer. He is looking for a foster or adopter. If interested please email p2h at Paws2heartrescue@yahoo.com

Story
Jack is a male 20-Month-old sweet heart of a German Coolie **posted as a cattle dog/border collie mix because we didn’t have German Coolie in the drop-down list to choose from**Jack really needs a job and would be perfect for herding/ranch work. Imported from Australia and born to working stock dogs, Jack has amazing natural herding ability. Like others of his breed, Jack is an intelligent dog who has an impeccable work ethic and a strong desire to please. But Jack’s current situation is urban with little opportunity to work stock so re-homing him is the best option to let him do what he loves to do. Jack is dog-reactive to unfamiliar dogs but currently lives with and is highly compatible with dogs familiar to him, and has become comfortable with other dogs he has been introduced to over time. If the introduction is done appropriately, he will work and play with other dogs but is very fear reactive to unknown dogs that might approach. This makes his current urban home challenging as neighborhood walks frequently involve encounters with new dogs. At this point we are looking for the RIGHT home with owners who have an interest in herding or have opportunities for solo dog adventures and who understand reactive dogs and strategies to work through dog-dog introductions and interactions. No families with small children, only older children, will be considered. Jack’s original owner is a canine fitness and sport training specialist with a number of other dog training specializations, including nose work. Jack is well trained and she is in no hurry to get rid of him at all. Again, we are looking for the right home for him to thrive in and only the right situation for Jack will be considered. Jack's re-homing fee is $400. If you think you can provide a good home for Jack and give him a job, we would like to hear from you.

Story
Needing immediate foster or adopter! Beautiful Emma appears to be a border collie- Staffordshire mix, and maybe some heeler too. Look at those gorgeous blue eyes! Emma is close to 6yrs old and weighs just 50lbs. Just as cute and muscular as can be with short and stocky legs! Emma is fun- active and adventuresome and looks forward to all types of daily exercise including jogging, rigorous hiking and long walks. Emma is great on a leash and she loves car rides. Emma is quiet most of the time, barking only at appropriate moments. Emma can be slightly insecure when meeting new folks but with just a few treats, she quickly becomes a friendly, cuddly girl. She is very selective of her doggie playmates and seems to like medium sized, easy-going males best. Therefore, we think a calm but playful male dog or no other dog in the home is best. And no kitties for this cutie. Emma is fully house and crate trained and would love a foster home to chill in while folks are working from home. Emma will keep you exercising and entertained! Emma is spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped and she must have a dog-experienced home. Emma is very agile, so your fence must be at least 6ft. Maybe a candidate for agility training!? Such an awesome girl deserves a home- if even just a foster so she can be a real dog. For any Emma questions, or a foster or adoption application, email Tamera at K9 Rescue & Rehab, info@k9rr.org. Emma would love to meet you very soon!

Story
I've had Sam for over two years now. She's an incredibly friendly and loving girl who loves playing with tennis balls and getting lots of love. She does well with young children but not so much with other dogs or cats. I'm looking for a forever home for her; Sam is trained to sit, stay, and other basic commands but recently got out and killed a cat in my neighborhood so she has a high prey drive and will need some more training. It breaks my heart to get rid of her but I don't have time and money to give her the proper training she needs. I want her to have the best home possible. A house with fenced back yard where she can run freely.
