Welcome Banjo. Available through CCPAL He is 3.5-year-old Boxer/Lab or Dalmatian mix. He was a house dog and so we notice he holds it in his kennel to go in the yard. He is good with other dogs and about 55 pounds. We are working on his leash manners and he is coming along nicely. The owners that turned him in did say he was house trained. He is good in a car and will make some family a good companion. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally or transported to the East Coast, Oregon, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois or Vermont. He loves other dogs and has lived in a home with another dog so he probably would prefer a home with another dog. He has the most adorable markings on his face. Looks like he had a rough night and was tired when putting on his makeup. He missed his eyelid on one eye and slipped with the eyeliner on the other eye. He and his brother can be adopted separately. Welcome Guilley to CCPAL. He is a 1.5-year-old Boxer/Terrier mix. He has the most adorable wonky ears. He is very active and will be great for a runner, hiker or outdoorsy enthusiast. He is best in a harness and pulls some when another dog is there to play with. He probably wasn’t raised with another dog. A dog who has been around other dogs can read the ques that you are irritating them. He misses some of the ques so he can be too energetic for the more laid-back dogs. Troy has done an amazing job with him and he can now play off lead with 5 other alphas in the rescue off leash. That being said, he would be a great family pet with older kiddos due to his energy and someone who is athletic. He would be an AMAZING running partner and since he was raised as an only dog, we would like to keep him as an only dog. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with a transporter to deliver him to the East Coast, Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Wisconsin or Vermont. Faith is a strikingly beautiful brindle boxer mix. She is a bit tentative with strangers and can be fearful of men. She would do best in a patient, not excessively busy home that will continue her training. Faith gets along with most dogs as long as she has a good greeting. She is crate trained but can be defensive towards other dogs while enclosed. She walks ok on leash but pulls if excited. Faith also loves water! She will swim, wade and play in a pool, even in rain water :) She is past most puppy mischief and enjoys napping on the couch. She is housebroken and very well behaved in the house. She is good with children but may not appreciate a busy child home with many people coming and going. He is a young boy with an old soul, very affectionate and eager to please. He gets along with all the female dogs his size that are low energy here at the shelter but does not do well with male dogs. He doesn't need a lot of exercise but would probably enjoy a walk in the park every now and then. He is currently being treated for heart worms and will be ready for his new home in just a few weeks.
