Story
Joe is a wonderful, very calm boy that would love an easy going home of his own. His previous owner would let him roam and would not go looking for him for days at a time. When they moved, Joe was out wandering so they moved without him. He’s such a sweet tempered boy, he really deserves a loving, forever home that will give him the care he needs and deserves. When Joe is out on a walk, he’s wonderful with everyone he meets. He likes to lean up against you for lots of affection and would climb in your lap if you let him. When he’s at home, he can be a protective boy so he must have a bully breed experienced home. He loves to run around the yard but he’s not too interested in playing fetch. He does loves his toys, though, so lots of indestructible toys would be great. Otherwise, Joe is really a couch potato kind of guy. If he’s excited or hears something out of the norm, he will give a bark or two, so he’d be a great watch dog. Because Joe bonds quickly and can be a bit protective, and adult only home would be best. Joe has never been socialized with other animals so he must be the only dog in the home. He is fully crate and house trained and can be left home alone for a reasonable amount of hours. He must have a 6ft securely fenced yard.

I rescued him as a puppy. He’s 3 years old. Pot trained, spoiled and big cuddler. Loves everybody. He has to take a pill everyday for allergies. I can tell you where or the cost. Have some still to send with him.

Story
RJ is a handsome box/lab mix - a sweet 2-year-old pup, weighing about 50 lbs. - is looking for a forever home! Currently in a board and train program and NOT a kennel (!) RJ is seeking a foster family or forever home asap. He can’t wait for his forever home. RJ is good with large female dogs and loves people! He so enjoys affection. RJ is very food motivated and has learned his basic commands with trainer Casey: he knows sit, wait, ok, bow and down. RJ is learning how to play with other dogs. He is so excited to meet other dogs that he can overwhelm them with his enthusiasm. RJ would do great as the only dog in a home, but seems to really enjoy having canine buddies and being around the other foster dogs. RJ has playful energy to chase toys and run in the yard, but can be mellow and curl up in your lap too. This is a very sweet, goofy guy who is eager to please. RJ would be a wonderful addition to any home. He is working on his leash skills and still is a bit pully on the leash. He would love an active home where he could enjoy playing fetch and being your hiking or running buddy. RJ is great at puzzle toys and loves using his brain. RJ would dig a big yard to run run run in. RJ is crate trained and house trained and likes to chill in his crate. Once he warms up to you, he will be your forever and loyal buddy! He will never leave your side. RJ is vaccinated, micro-chipped and neutered. For more information on this best bully boy, contact Sam at samfitzgerald2010@yahoo.com or submit an application at the following link: https://forms.gle/p3ibrCpVzWW28EMSA. You just have to meet this boy who can’t wait to be with YOU!

Story
Introducing Squirrley I have to admit, it isn’t easy being named after most dog’s arf nemesis. It’s like naming a cat Mousey. Or naming a sheep, Wolfy. Or nick naming a Vampire, Sunshine. The only thing worse might have been to name me *gasp* Mailman, Amazon Delivery Dude or UPS Lady. All sworn enemies of the canines by oath of law. Truffly though, I really don’t mind the name. I am just happy to not be living on my own and actually have an identity. I was rescued by a Street Dog Rescuer after being dumped on the side of the road wrapped in a shower curtain and old bedspread. I was skin and bones. That was a sad day for me to be treated like garbage. There is a light at the tunnel. My saddest day opened the door to what will be my best day. The DAY YOU ADOPT ME!! I am a female 5 year old Boxer mix weighing in about 30 pounds. The best way to remember that I am a female is to remember that squirrelly rhymes with girly. It also rhymes with Shirley, but surely you knew that. You are a smart human right? I am an intelligent girl too. I am being a good girl around all the other dogs at the rescue camp. I don’t beg or seek attention, but when the Rescue Lady talks to me, I stop to listen. She stops to watch my ears wiggle to catch her voice. I have the best ears on campus. I love that the humans talk to me. It is just so refreshing to have someone pay attention to little ole me. I come when called because not only does this Rescue Lady pay me with attention, she has been known to also pay me in a dog desired currency, weenies. So do you want to be the lucky person that provides me with my BEST DAY EVER???? If so, please fill out an application. GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter. Story
Meet Bradley JuM Need a shoulder to cry on? White dogs tend to get adopted quicker than brindle fellas, but brindle dogs are much better for wiping snot and mascara on. Say you are watching a Bradley Cooper movie, A Star is Born, try blowing your nose and wiping that on a white dog, what a mess. Me, blends right in. Camuttflauge for any type of dirt, secretion, or just a good place to wipe the Cheeto dust off your finger tips. *cronch cronch, oh, you were planning to share the Cheetos, right????* I might won’t pass the white glove test, but I will pass the Good Boy Test. I am happy with everyone. I love all other dogs. I do have the hunky 50 pound athletic frame of a Boxer, but I am not SHALLOW, my personality is poochy keen. I am so vibrant for a 4 year old, Foster Mom keeps asking me, “did you find the fountain of youth”, nope, but if you show me to a tree, I can show you a fountain. *he he he, I crack me up* I was rescued from the local muttnicipal shelter on the dreaded last day, so there was a silver lining in my playbook. I am getting up to speed on both potty and crate training and leash walking. Whether it is to a crash a wedding, support you during a hangover, or just be a general Kleenex during the latest rom com or romedy or dramady or any other movie colab, I am ready to hustle! Rubeus is a well behaved and will be 2yrs old in June! Rubeus loves snuggling and playing with his various toys. Rubeus does very well on his leash and off. Rubeus does NOT do well when left alone. He is looking for his forever home and would prefer to be around older children/adults that can respect his space (toddlers overwhelm Rubeus). He will come with his toys, food, bed, leash and harness when his new loving family comes to pick him up!

Story
Hi! My name is Barry and I am available for adoption.I was brought in by a good samaritan on November 6, 2023.I weigh 60.0 lbs and am considered a `large breed` dog.I was super timid when I arrived at RASKC, but I am finally coming out of my shell. I am still nervous, but am VERY treat motivated so I can be easily won over!I will happily `sit` for treats :)Due to my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home without children (fast movements and loud noises). My personality color is BLUE. I am a gentle and loving dog who likes to take things slow. I may get nervous in new situations, so I am looking for a family who understands that I might take some time to warm up. Once I get to know you, I will be a very devoted friend!

Story
Hi there! My name is Topher. I was brought to RASKC as a stray and now I`m ready to find a new home. I`m a busy boy with a lot of energy! I`m very active and would enjoy a lifestyle with a lot of time outdoors exercising. I`m extremely food motivated and pretty smart too so teaching me new tricks and manners should be a breeze. I can be a bit jumpy so I might overwhelmed small children or people without much dog experience. I weigh 51lbs and am considered a large breed dog. My personality color is RED. I am a spirited dog with a fun-loving personality! I am still working on my manners, so I would do best with a family who is willing to work with me and help me become the best dog I can be!
