I rescued him as a puppy. He’s 3 years old. Pot trained, spoiled and big cuddler. Loves everybody. He has to take a pill everyday for allergies. I can tell you where or the cost. Have some still to send with him.

Story
Introducing Squirrley I have to admit, it isn’t easy being named after most dog’s arf nemesis. It’s like naming a cat Mousey. Or naming a sheep, Wolfy. Or nick naming a Vampire, Sunshine. The only thing worse might have been to name me *gasp* Mailman, Amazon Delivery Dude or UPS Lady. All sworn enemies of the canines by oath of law. Truffly though, I really don’t mind the name. I am just happy to not be living on my own and actually have an identity. I was rescued by a Street Dog Rescuer after being dumped on the side of the road wrapped in a shower curtain and old bedspread. I was skin and bones. That was a sad day for me to be treated like garbage. There is a light at the tunnel. My saddest day opened the door to what will be my best day. The DAY YOU ADOPT ME!! I am a female 5 year old Boxer mix weighing in about 30 pounds. The best way to remember that I am a female is to remember that squirrelly rhymes with girly. It also rhymes with Shirley, but surely you knew that. You are a smart human right? I am an intelligent girl too. I am being a good girl around all the other dogs at the rescue camp. I don’t beg or seek attention, but when the Rescue Lady talks to me, I stop to listen. She stops to watch my ears wiggle to catch her voice. I have the best ears on campus. I love that the humans talk to me. It is just so refreshing to have someone pay attention to little ole me. I come when called because not only does this Rescue Lady pay me with attention, she has been known to also pay me in a dog desired currency, weenies. So do you want to be the lucky person that provides me with my BEST DAY EVER???? If so, please fill out an application. GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter. Our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Good with dogs,
Story
Meet Bradley JuM Need a shoulder to cry on? White dogs tend to get adopted quicker than brindle fellas, but brindle dogs are much better for wiping snot and mascara on. Say you are watching a Bradley Cooper movie, A Star is Born, try blowing your nose and wiping that on a white dog, what a mess. Me, blends right in. Camuttflauge for any type of dirt, secretion, or just a good place to wipe the Cheeto dust off your finger tips. *cronch cronch, oh, you were planning to share the Cheetos, right????* I might won’t pass the white glove test, but I will pass the Good Boy Test. I am happy with everyone. I love all other dogs. I do have the hunky 50 pound athletic frame of a Boxer, but I am not SHALLOW, my personality is poochy keen. I am so vibrant for a 4 year old, Foster Mom keeps asking me, “did you find the fountain of youth”, nope, but if you show me to a tree, I can show you a fountain. *he he he, I crack me up* I was rescued from the local muttnicipal shelter on the dreaded last day, so there was a silver lining in my playbook. I am getting up to speed on both potty and crate training and leash walking. Whether it is to a crash a wedding, support you during a hangover, or just be a general Kleenex during the latest rom com or romedy or dramady or any other movie colab, I am ready to hustle! Story
Chowder is looking for a foster home. He’s currently living in an overflow kennel used for dogs needing a foster or forever home. Please contact us if you can help: connellpetrescue@gmail.com Say hello to Chowder! This 9-month-old boxer mix is a real sweetie. Someone said he has a face that only a mother could love but we don’t think that’s true at all! From Chowder’s darling little ears and expressive face down to his always wagging tail, we can only see his total cuteness! As you can see in his photos, he’s living in a kennel run in E. WA. Chowder’s first wish is to get out of the kennel and find a place in the Seattle area, whether foster or forever. He will be transported to this area if there is an adoptive family, or foster family willing to give him shelter until he gets adopted. Although Chowder looks like an adult dog, he’s a puppy at heart. He’s bouncy and loves to play, run around, explore and go for long walks. But also has a relaxed, snuggly side. He gets along well with other dogs and while he hasn’t been tested with cats, he may be a little too much for them. He’d do well in a family with children 12 years old and up due to his size—he could knock over smaller kids. Chowdere would love to live with an active family who will include him in their lives. A yard with a fence would be wonderful. So he can be the best family dog he can be, he’d like to go to positive-method training classes. He’s eager to learn! Please show Chowder that people care about him. If you would like to foster, please email us. If you’d like to adopt, please fill out the application here: https://forms.gle/bSkgpdm6ZX7yH5Ef9 Questions? Ready to foster? Contact us at connellpetrescue@gmail.com Thank you (& most of all, Chowder thanks you!)!

Story
Rocky is a very sweet 6 year old Boxer/Pitbull mix. He is full of love, kisses and cuddles. He get a little anxious when he’s alone, so expect to see him everywhere you go. He is amazing with kids and other dogs, but should not be around cats or bunnies. Unfortunately we recently found out he has kidney disease, as his previous owners were neglectful and let a uti go too far. We love him so much, but are not able to put the time and money into vet visits as he deserves.

Story
Joe is a wonderful, very calm boy, 4 years old and 60 lbs.,  that would love an easy going home of his own.  His previous owner would let him roam and would not go looking for him for days at a time.  When they moved, Joe was out wandering so they moved without him. He’s such a sweet tempered boy, he really deserves a loving, forever home that will give him the care he needs and deserves.   When Joe is out on a walk, he’s wonderful with everyone he meets.  He likes to lean up against you for lots of affection and would climb in your lap if you let him.  When he’s at home, he can be a protective boy so he must have a bully breed experienced home.  He loves to run around the yard but he’s not too interested in playing fetch.  He does loves his toys, though, so lots of indestructible  toys would be great.  Otherwise, Joe is really a couch potato kind of guy.  If he’s excited or hears something out of the norm, he will give a bark or two, so he’d be a great watch dog.  Because Joe bonds quickly and can be a bit protective, and adult only home would be best.  Joe has never been socialized with other animals so he must be the only dog in the home.  He is fully crate and house trained and can be left home alone for a reasonable amount of hours.  He must have a 6ft securely fenced yard.  If you would like to meet handsome gentle Joe please email info@k9rr.org and  include your phone number
