Story

Butterscotch or Butters as she's often called is one of the sweetest, softest cats you will ever meet. She is very shy at first, but once she warns up to you, she is very cuddly. I originally adopted her after getting another pair of kittens because I felt badly nobody had yet adopted her. Three cats has proven too much, with her behavior issues. Her issue is that she occasionally pees JUST outside the litter box. I do not think she does this intentionally, I believe she prefers to go at the very edge and is accidentally going outside. I have taken her to the vet multiple times and they agree it is just behavioral, as she also has peed on blankets or dirty clothes left on the floor. As my husband and I are looking for a new house, we cannot risk bringing her with us. Because of the urinating, she may do better in a home being the only cat, but she plays well and gets along with other cats, and was with dogs before I got her. I've never rehome a pet; I just hope to find a loving home.

There are actually two, brother and sister, 7 months old, born August 6, 2019. Would love to keep them together if possible, they are very close. They are both friendly, playful and cuddly. I have only had them for two weeks but my 6 year old cat is very aggressive to them and she is losing weight from being so stressed. The original owners had to move and could not keep them, they tried to get a rescue to take them but no rescues in their area were accepting any. Their only alternative was to leave them outdoors, when I found out i agreed to take them but unfortunately my 6 year old cat is having a very hard time accepting them, I have to keep them separated to keep her from hurting them. Not an ideal home for such young cats. They are beautiful and healthy. I actually had someone who was willing to take them both if they were fixed but I cannot afford to do that right now and the female is almost old enough to get pregnant. Please consider giving them a loving home.
