Story
NOTE: For additional information about Lollipop please call 269-209-7278 and leave a message.UPDATE: Lollipop has an oral condition known as Stomatitis. It is very painful and often times requires the extraction of teeth (in severe cases a full-extraction is required.) We are currently raising the funds required for her oral surgery. Her case has turned urgent so she has been moved to the top of our list. She had her dental procedure completed on March 24. She will need time to recover, at which point she will be available for adoption. If you'd like to make a contribution to Lollipop you can do so at https://secure.actblue.com/donate/dental-project-reliefABOUT Lollipop: She is a little shy but such a sweet cat who loves treats, soft beds and gentle touches. She's very quiet and reserved in a shelter environment. You can typically find her napping and is easily approached. She loves affection and doesn't turn down a good back scratch. She is looking for a forever home that will show her she is loved. Lollipop would be best suited in a home without small children. She has not been tested with dogs. She does get along with other cats. Her perfect companion would be a seasoned cat owner who knows the importance of allowing a cat who has lived in a shelter a long time the space and patience to adjust to a new environment. Spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Adoption fee is $75.00. (Grey with cream and a soft peach-like color.)More about Companion Cats' ""Project Relief"" Fundraiser:Companion Cats has a dozen additional cats in need of dental procedures. We are promoting a fundraiser so each cat can get the lifesaving procedures done. The sooner we are able to raise the funds required, the sooner we can schedule each cats’ appointment. Some of the cats have very painful oral conditions, like stomatitis. Without getting the dental work done, the cats will suffer... and suffering isn’t an option. If you are interested contributing: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/dental-project-reliefThe following cats have had the necessary, life saving dental procedures completed: Braxton, Leopold, Mookie Lollipop and Phoebe. The following cats are still in need of dental procedures: Charlie, Sophie, Delilah, Hutch, Ellie, Tannon, Curtis, Velvet, Winnie and Valentino.Adoption fees and Companion Cats’ business hours can be found here: www.Companioncats.comAll Companion Cats are spayed or neutered, given age appropriate vaccinations, feline leukemia/FIV tested and also microchipped.Thank you for choosing adoption, adoption saves lives!

Story
⭐️NOTE: To inquire about adoption or for additional information about Chewy and Charlie, please call 269-209-7278 and leave a message.⭐️ABOUT Chewy: He arrived at Companion Cats with his brother and sister, Charlie and Monarch. Their human mom passed away and family members were unable to keep them. Both Chewy and his brother were approximately 15 pounds each, but have lost 4-5 pounds each due to stress. They've experienced too much change and the shelter is certainly not home. They were allowed to run the building but Chewy kept hiding in the cupboard with our shy kitties and poor Charlie kept hiding under a rolling cage. They are now in a cage together so they feel less threatened and intimidated by the other cats. We have kept the boys together to help relieve some of their stress, but they really need to be adopted and moved to a nice quiet environment where they can feel at home. Once they feel safe again, they should gain all their weight back. They look a lot alike. Chewy has a small black dot on his nose and his eyes are a gold/green. Charlie's eyes are a soft light green. Both are very friendly and love affection. Chewy is talkative with a soft voice. He will roll over to look cute and ask for attention. We are hoping to keep Chewy and Charlie together to help them make yet another transition. If you're looking for a couple of gentle giants to snuggle, these are the boys for you. They will make such precious companions. Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Adoption fee is $110.00 for both. Please understand, Companion Cats is made up of volunteers. Arrangements will need to be made to view our adoptable cats and kittens in person. Story
NOTE: For additional information please call 269-209-7278 and leave a messageABOUT WILMA: Wilma was adopted once before but was very unhappy. She's spent all her life at Companion Cats (over 6 years now.) We're not sure if it just wasn't the right home for her or if she's just used to living at the shelter. So, here's a little about Wilma. She's petite with shiny fur. You'll often find her snuggled up on a blanket with a bunch of other cats. She loves to play and though she can be a little shy, she is friendly and affectionate. Once she gets to know you, she will open up and start looking cute for you all in an attempt to get even more attention. At Companion Cats she is quiet and allows the more dominate cats to hog all the attention. Maybe the right person is out there to steal Wilma's heart. The purrfect cat whisperer. After being in the shelter for so long it's unfortunate that she typically goes unnoticed. Black cats are the least likely to be adopted. Because of some silly superstition, black cats are foolishly thought to be bad luck. Some of the absolute sweetest black cats are passed by because of this belief. While Wilma may be happy living at the shelter for the rest of her life there are cats like Wilma longing to find a home of their own. If you are looking for an affectionate companion and lap-cat please take the opportunity to get to know one of many black cats at Companion Cats. They will steal your heart and fill it all at the same time. For additional information please call 269-209-7278. Adoption fee is $75.00. All cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for FIV/FeLV.Adoption fees and Companion Cats’ business hours can be found here: www.Companioncats.comAll Companion Cats are spayed or neutered, given age appropriate vaccinations, feline leukemia/FIV tested and also microchipped.Thank you for choosing adoption, adoption saves lives!
