Story
Lily was adopted from our local animal shelter in 2017 and was estimated to be 4 years old at the time. She was found in the home of an animal hoarder and there were more than 44 other cats living there besides her. When she first moved in with us, she was glued to me. However, when we found our kitten, Lily completely changed. She adopted Preston (aka "Chicken Little") and began to watch over him like his mother would have. Even now, if she can't find Chicken, she will rummage through my sock drawer and carry around a pair of socks. She will follow me or my son through the house meowing pitifully until we find Chicken all the while carrying the pair of socks like a kitten. And like any mother, she will bat at him when he is roughhousing or purr rather loudly when he is getting out of hand. We cannot separate them because of this bond. Due to my work, my son and I need to move. Because we will be renting, we can't have animals. We need to find them great homes!

Story
Goose is a very sweet, cuddly, 13-year-old. We adopted her as a kitten while living in Arizona. She loves to snuggle on your lap, play “fetch” with hair ties and small paper balls, and drools all over you when you pet her. (Yes, we promise she is a cat and not a dog.) Goose doesn’t get along with our younger male cat and has become very anxious around our 1-year-old human baby. I think that’s why she has peed on our furniture a couple times. I truly think she would do very well finishing out her days in a household with NO other pets and middle/high school aged children.

Story
Baby is a very sweet cat. She’s somewhere between 2 and 3. She was a very frail and terrified little kitty when we got her. She has since blossomed and gained weight back as well as her fur is full again. When she first arrived in our home she was scared of every move we made. She always jumped back as if scared we would hurt her. So we guess she may have been mistreated in some way. However, she has become much better since then. She’s very loving towards people. Her only problem is I cannot seem to socialize her with our other cats. And I know not every cat will commit to that, and I don’t want to force her to. So she has had her own room. She has a separate litter box, food, water, a window she can see out, and things to play on/with. I hate leaving her in there alone, but our apartment only has so much space. And now with a baby due very soon I don’t want to bring more stress into her life. She deserves her own space.
