Sammy has a very sweet disposition. She's mellow and loves to cuddle with the adults in the house and our other cat. She spends hours laying in the sun and chasing bugs in our yard. We are sad to have to rehome her. The circumstances are double: 1) our 3 year old daughter has been suffering from painful and itchy eczema for the past 2 years and after diet changes, working with a pediatrician, a naturapathic doctor, an allergist and a dermatologist, we are unable to clear it up. So, we need to try rehoming the cats to see if that helps. Now our 5 month old baby is getting splotches too. 2) Sammy is a special needs cat. She is quite overweight. This has led to her not being able to clean herself properly, which means dingle berries occasionally throughout the house + dirty smears on the floor/furniture. We get her rear end shaved at the vet regularly to help with the dingles + wipe her with wipes. This is all too much for us with 2 very young children, one who is on the verge of crawling
