Story

Mouthy has spent almost four years at the shelter and is currently its longest resident. She was originally found as an unwanted stray getting into someone's garbage, likely looking for food, and was brought to the vet to be euthanized. The vet instead rescued her by bringing her to the SPCA, where she has resided since. Mouthy a special girl with beautiful blue eyes and an attitude to match her princess looks. She is the queen of the castle, and she is not shy about letting you know it! Mouthy got her name because whenever she doesn't like what you are doing, she will protest by letting out a raspy yowl to tell you she is displeased. Mouthy needs someone who will appreciate her beauty and respect her boundaries. She has lived in a foster home with other cats and a dog, always uses the litter box, and takes good care of herself. We are hopeful that someone will understand Mouthy's true personality and take a chance on this special girl.
