This sweet little girl was a mommy way too young. She was rescued with tiny kittens—all malnourished, anemic and flea infested. Unfortunately, Lulu's kittens did not survive. She missed her kittens very much and was very depressed. Along came a little kitten named Louie who was rescued when he was about five weeks old. Lulu decided he needed some mothering, and she was just the girl to do it! Even though she did not nurse him, she bathed him, cuddled him and took very good care of him. Louie is now a big boy of 12 weeks. She seems happy that her mommy duties are done and she is enjoying some pampering. This beautiful girl was found on a cold, wet afternoon in December. Soaking wet and shivering, the six-week-old kitten emerged from the woods all alone and seeking help. Chica is 2 years old we adopted her from a kill shelter in Chowan County, NC along with her sister. She is sweet and loving, and loves attention, children and people. Chica needs a home where she is the only cat. Although she is not aggressive in any way, she’s territorial with other female cats, she doesn’t get along with her sister, but gets along fine with our 2 other male cats. Brie and her kittens were rescued off Craigslist where she was advertised "free to 'good' home." We took the entire family! Brie was a fantastic momma, but her days of having kittens are done. She would love a home where she can just chill, observe and groom her human (we think she was a hairstylist in her former life since grooming hair is something she fancies). Cucumber and Pickles are a bonded pair that are needing to be kept together. They are approximately 3 years old and sisters. We adopted them when they were kittens. They were given all shots but are due for rabies. Cucumber is outgoing and affectionate. She loves to drink water from the sink! She will lay in the sink and even let water drip on her before getting up to drink.
