Story
We adopted Vader as a kitten, and he's been a special, sweet, handsome cat. This year, my daughter fell in love with an older calico cat at the shelter and we adopted her. The older calico is extremely aggressive toward Vader. We tried keeping them separated, but during re-introductions the female cat attacked Vader and he ran outside the first chance he got. He has stayed outside all summer and we're worried about letting him stay outside now that it's getting colder. He's not quite three years old and gets along well with the neighbor cat. He doesn't like being picked up, so I don't think he'd do well in a home with toddlers although he's been great with my kids (ages over 8). Never any problems with eating or litter box use. Love chin rubs and playing with toys. I hate to give him up, but it feels cruel to let the other cat terrorize him or to let him live outside in the cold.

Story
Hello potential adopter, Let me tell you a little about Luna. We got Luna when she was a very small kitten, from a pet store about seven years ago and have had her ever since. We love her dearly, but with a new baby in the home we feel she'd be happier with a family that can provide her more attention and love. She is a purebred Turkish Van, which means a few things: 1. Beautiful and striking appearance, with white, soft fur and a big, puffy tail. 2. Very smart breed. She can play "fetch" with small cat toys and bring them back. 3. Very affectionate and loves attention and being petted. The ideal home for her would not have any other cats, as right now she lives with another cat in our home and they get along off and on but not great. Ideally you would have Luna be the only cat in the home. Dogs Luna gets along with hit or miss. Some dogs she ignores and gets along fine, others she does not like. Thank you for your time, happy to chat about Luna with you!

Story
Pebbles is around 2 years old and is very loving, playful, and quiet cat. Due to a misunderstanding with my HOA I cannot keep her at my place. She is good with other animals and kids. I have a cat tree house, litter box, food and other necessities that you will need to get started with a new cat.

Story
BENNY THE CAT AKA BENNIFERS, AKA BENNY BOY From the beginning, it was clear he wanted to fly solo. I tried to get him a female friend but despite a long introductory courtship, he never really wanted to share me. The feline love interest I had searched so long for had to go to my friend. About 2 years ago, I added a very friendly dog to the family but again, Benny insisted that this was his kingdom and increasingly, he has become Benny the Bully to the VERY patient 6-year old dog. He will have none of this sharing the affection stuff. As a result and also because a rather long and tricky move is imminent, I am realizing that he might be happier and less anxious in a home with no animal competition and a single owner. For a 14-year-old Benny is incredibly healthy! Every time he visits the vet she checks his age as she cannot believe it….no one can. I travel a bit and for short trips he is happy with a daily visit or boarding for longer ones.

Story
Phoebe is a beautiful cat. We got her at 4 months old and she is now 4 1/2. She has been a great pet in our first home and then we moved to Bend. The adjustment hasn't gone as well because temporarily took care of another cat, our family dog which Phoebe grew up with passed away and we got another dog that doesn't get along with the cat. We have three older kids and she does fine with them, but may be anxious with busy, younger children. Phoebe is an indoor cat, not declawed and uses her scratcher mostly. She loves to go outside and roll around on the patio, explore the plants and roam. She comes back when she hears the treats rattle! She is super soft and loves to sit on the chair or watch birds out the window. Phoebe has many good years left and we want those years to be in a less stressful home for her. The right home for her would be a quiet one - probably without other pets or small kids - where she will be loved and can be happy.
