Story
I rescued Freddie from the Lewis County Animal Shelter a little under a month ago, I didn’t go in thinking I’d be leaving with a pet, but he immediately stole my heart. He is one of the most loving cats I’ve ever met, he adores time with his people and is always up to snuggle or play. Freddie has a deep, silly meow that is sure to make you laugh, he’s without question a character. He is lovey, goofy, and all around ridiculous. Freddie truly is the perfect cat for me, I’m so sad I have to see him go. He unfortunately does not get along with other cats, I’m not sure about dogs. He was a stray before I adopted him and I think that may be a factor. He is only three and he deserves to live a full, rich life in which he can roam freely and be loved immensely. Freddie should be an only pet, but he contains the love of 100 cats. He is the sweetest and I truly believe he would be the perfect cat for a single pet household.

Story
Honestly she is a great cat. She hates being cooped up inside. I believe she would do great in an indoor/outdoor home. She loves to sleep in my bed on my legs. She talks a lot. Not as much if she able to freely come and go as she pleases. She does not like other animals and would probably do well in a house semi secluded with some trees to climb. I'm sad to see her go but at my apartment she books it out the door everytime its opened and will climb up others balconys and harass their cats :(

Story
My boys actually named her Chewbacca from star wars. She was born on September 17,2014 . She is okay with dogs and cats that show no interest in her. She seems to like to be left alone except by her humans. Two years ago she suffered from a urinary infection which I treated and she has been on cat food ever since that helps prevent her from getting another. Last year I separated from my husband and had to move in with my daughter and all her animals. One of the cats loves to pick on Chewy and she is getting attacked on and off, I was hoping this was going to be temporary but I have been trying to find a permanent job for 6 months now and with no luck so it looks like this is going to be a way longer stay and not only can I afford her shots now that are currently due and I had to go to the cheapest cat food for urinary that I could and I am struggling. She needs a secure and loving home. Only issue I had was clipping her nails so we were taking her to vet for that.

Clipper Joe A new world. So many transitions and experiences after being rescued. Clipper enjoys playing in his water dish and enjoys excitement of toys, however, nothing is better than getting meals every day. Still a little shy so you will need a little patience, but he is a darling boy.

Story
We adopted Little Foot as a kitten about 3 years ago. She is a very sweet kitty who likes people and attention. She prefers things to be calm and predictable. She also prefers having a consistent eating and sleeping schedule. We have a lot of activity in our home with teenage boys and their friends and two dogs, so she Is not comfortable at our home. She currently lives on our neighbor’s front porch and back deck (her choice). They love her and take care of her but are unable to keep her. We hope to find home where she can feel loved, safe and cared for! ❤️
