Story

We adopted Oliver "Ollie" six months after we were married, and we have had him now for about 4 years. We had our daughter two years ago. Ollie started having issues marking/peeing outside of his litter box late in my pregnancy, but it stopped fairly quickly. He then started to have this issue reoccur yearly, until this final year, where it has escalated and become unresponsive to techniques to stop it. We have tried numerous techniques, and the vet has ruled out anything medical and deemed it a behavioral issue. We think Ollie is stressed out by our environment, although we are not quite sure why. We really want him to be in a new home, maybe one without children would be better for him. We love him, but it is just not an issue we can deal with any longer with a two year old at home.

BamBam was adopted from the Humane Society 12 1/2 years ago and when her owner passed away 3 years later I took over her care. She is a sweet, playful and sassy cat. If given the opportunity she would spend most of her days on the patio enjoying the sun and trying to keep up with wildlife. Bam craves lots of attention and my husband and I are not home much - it is apparent that she is sad and not loving being home alone the majority of the day. She was recently diagnosed with a short colon and is on a long term steroid treatment course which is helping her symptoms tremendously. I would love to be able to find a loving home for her where she would get the companionship she deserves.

Vinny is a 7 year old cat that we found in a barn a year ago. We found him outside during the crazy -40 degree weather we had last winter and the poor little guy was on the brink of death when we saved him. I have been fostering him back to health since then. Vinny suffers from permanent skin damage from being frost bitten. His ear tips are gone because of the frost bite, and he has some issues with anxiety. When we lived in a 3 bedroom house with more space he was happy and thriving, since we've moved to a 1 bedroom apartment his anxiety has spiraled. He has been pulling out his fur and obsessively grooming. After veterinary examination it was determined that it is purely a psychological issue due to stress from moving and PTSD from being indoors after being out in the cold for so long. Vinny needs a permanent spacious home with loving people that will give him kisses every day and treat him like the little angel he is!

Whiskers is such an affectionate cat! I’ve owned him since I was four, and he loves to snuggle. I really want to find a good home for him because I love him deeply. I can no longer keep him because my mom has been chronically ill for years and he make her worse. I wish I could, but obviously I love my mom more and want her to get better. Whiskers is low maintenance, but he loves comfortable places to sleep because he is older, and if you have a screened in porch he will love you forever! He can’t go outside because he cannot defend himself and he will eat grass, but he loves being in the sun. He doesn’t like being washed but he does like being brushed. He doesn’t mind strangers and isn’t aggressive by nature, but he can play bite occasionally. I have to find him a home soon or I just have to drop him off at a shelter, so if your interested please contact me! I appreciate it! 😸
