Story
This is Zeus, he was originally rescued but we fell in love and wanted to keep him. Unfortunately we are unable to keep him due to him being snippy with our other dogs. He is a very loving and a sweet boy who is about a year and a half. He is house trained and will go to the door when he needs out. He is a survivor and very kind and cuddly. We’re looking for his forever home where he will be properly cared for and loved. Preferably somewhere with a decent back yard, he loves to play fetch and run around. He is shy around new people and will take time to adjust but once he is around for a while he will adjust and start to come out of his shell. He likes to sleep with us in the bed but will also sleep in his dog bed. He has never attacked or bit any human and is good with kids. We are looking for a permanent home for him so please only contact us if you are seriously committed.

Story
Meet Sydelle! (Sweet Pea) 10 year old Spayed Female Chihuahua SP was saved from a hoarding/seizure case with 60+ brothers, sisters and cousins... needless to say, she’s dog friendly, but loves her alone time. SP is heartworm positive and undergoing treatment. Her prognosis isn’t the best, but her treatment is covered entirely by Who Rescued Who. We are adamant on making a beautiful life for our senior pups, and will make no exception with SP! She is seeking a family of her own, slow paced... low energy, and loves to cuddle! Please submit an adoption application today! www.WhoRescuedWho.us

Story
In the short time that Skye has been with her foster mom, she has really blossomed. When she first came to rescue, Skye was very scared and afraid. Her owner was put into a nursing home and there was no one left to care for her. Understandably, she was nervous and unsure of what was happening. But, with a lot of love and patience from her foster mom, she is starting to wag her tail and ask for affection (she loves scratches and soft pets). She does fine with the resident dogs (with a proper introduction) and is house trained and kennel trained. Skye will need a patient forever home where they will allow her to continue to get her confidence back. We just know that her perfect home is out there. Is that maybe your home? Story
Hi! My name is Lafayette .. but my foster family calls me Laffy (they tell me I'm a silly girl). I am a feisty redhead that will keep you entertained. I love playing with other dogs and with my person. I love food!! It's needed as I am an active lady, I can jump 4 feet into the air! There's this thing called a frisbee that I want to try, maybe with my new family. I do know how to ""kennel up"" and its my safe place when I want time alone.I came from a not so great situation and at first I didn't trust humans.. you lot can be a bit overwhelming but I'm a tough chihuahua and I didn't back down from the challenge. I'm glad I didn't because now I know that people mean good things, like butt and neck scratches (my FAVORITE), food and treats and I like giving kisses in gratitude.I like other dogs, if you have a dog that is younger, my size'ish and wants to play.. that would be so much fun!To have your home considered for adoption, read about our adoption process or fees, and find out about interstate transport, please visit our website, www.LongWayHomeAdoptables.org and click the adopt tab!Our adoption fee is $200 for dogs, $100 for cats, and it includes spay/neuter, all vaccines, heartworm testing, fecal testing, deworming, flea/heartworm prevention, and a microchip.
