Story
Please contact Nunnallee for more information about this pet.Tony came to us from local shelter. He is very in-tuned to his people. He gets along with other pups and enjoys a good romp and playtime. Tony is making progress with his manners, and is generally an easy keeper! At 5 years, Tony is still quite an active boy, athletic and agile, making him an ideal candidate for a running or walking buddy. He can be a rascal around cats (the chase is just too much fun to resist) so a no-cat home would be best! While Tony adores attention from the kiddos, he’s not quite aware of his own exuberance, and would be a better fit for a home with older, respectful children. Tony has waited a long time for a forever home. We know his his family is out there, just waiting to connect! We will miss him!  We would love to hear how he is doing should you choose to send updates!

Story
Est DOB: 02/01/14 Approx weight: 25lbs Blakey is an absolutely adorable dog who was let down badly by his previous owners. They dropped him off at a kill shelter when he was suffering badly from colitis. Blakey was underweight and in a lot of pain. Thankfully we were able to help him. Blakey does need to be on a special diet and an enzyme powder for the rest of his life, however the enzyme medication is not expensive and the food is no more expensive than a good quality dog food. Unfortunately previous owners not only let him down when he got sick but also could not be bothered to give him heart worm prevention every month, because of this Blakey is heart worm positive. Thankfully this has been caught early, please do not rule him out because of it. He is on the slow approach to treatment which is not as hard on the dog as other treatment options you may have heard of. We will provide medication for this treatment approach for FREE! Although Blakey has some health needs, he is a dog that would really bring so much joy to a family. He is gorgeous with an amazingly soft coat, loyal and calm. Crate trained and house trained (although please expect an adjustment period) and has been good with all of the dogs in his foster home, the teenagers in the foster home (when they come home from university) and a visiting  2 year old and baby. Breed mix is unknown. Please consider making this adorable boy a member of your family and contact us to arrange to meet him. $150 adoption fee includes core vaccinations, rabies vaccination, heart worm test (in dogs over 6 months of age), microchip and registration, spay/neuter, wormer and flea and heart worm prevention while the dog is in our care.

Story
This is Leah. Leah is a sweet one year old collie/Shepherd mix. She has all her shots and is spayed. We adopted Leah but a lot has happened after. Both my husband and our losing our jobs, new jobs and all of a sudden my apartment complex has restrictions even after I called when we met her and they said it was okay. Leah is very very sweet but has a separation anxiety which means she’d do better with someone with more time or another dog. I have so much info on Leah but this is the best lap dog. She’s a couch potato and just loves to be loved and returns it.
