Mel is the sweetest young cat with dog tendencies......... Mel will whine when he does not get his way. Mel is greedy, and will try to eat kitchen food. Mel is hard-headed and spoiled. Mel is very active. I received Melcee as a Mother's Day gift in May 2019, at 7 weeks old - he will be 1 year in April. I love him, but we are moving and cannot keep him. We have raised Mel to do as he was told - so he understands the word "No" - as a matter of fact, when he was 3 months old, he actually meowed the words "No", no, no. (we said it constantly). He loves to jump on things, most young cats do, but Mel is good at it. He loves to be petted/rubbed, and loves to cuddle. He is very lovable and it hurts me to give him up. He does not like getting his nails clipped - the Vet will recommend to give him "calming" medicine before they clip his nails.

Figaro is in hospice foster care as he is in renal failure, but still has a good quality of life. Figaro and his sister, Zsa Zsa, came to NTCR’s attention when their human was placed into a long-term care facility and a plea for help in rehoming them was issued. We were told they went to a new home. As it turns out, the pair were shuffled to two different homes where neither received adequate food, water, attention, or veterinary care. NTCR was alerted to their plight once again. We rescued both kitties; however, it was too late for Zsa Zsa. By the time we rescued her, Zsa Zsa was in complete renal failure and her organs began shutting down. We had to let her go. Figaro is under the care of an experienced foster, under medical supervision, and receiving the right food (and as much as he wants too.) Seriously the sweetest most laid back cats ever! It's killing me that I have to re-home them. Their names are Uno and Dos... Sisters who are bonded. Uno is missing an eye and we don't know what happened to her as it was gone we took them home. We will include a repurposed finite piece that I made into a hidden litter box and any other supplies we have. Dos likes to eat and let's is know when it's time. She sometimes eats her food then tries to eat her sisters too. Uno just wants to be in the same room with her family.
