Story
Thor is a sweet little guy who loves to snuggle and be showered with love and attention. He's a tiny guy who weighs very little and has really soft fur and a silly tongue that sticks out one side of his mouth 24x7. He's very smart and learned to use the doggie door to go in and out by the second day of having him. He likes to go outside and explore things in the yard but always comes back in the house ready for treats or more snuggles. Speaking of treats...he LOVES all kinds of treats but appreciates the soft ones the most to his lack of a full set of teeth. Thor is bonded with his brother Oscar.  Thor also gets along well with our other dogs and is especially close with his bonded brother, Oscar. Where one goes, the other follows. They look out for one another too. Thor has not been cat tested by us. He sleeps through the night without any issues and takes numerous naps each day. He likes to be held, or is perfectly happy laying next to you or in your lap. Thor has an occasional accident in the house but for the most part goes outside to do his business. He's a mellow little guy who prefers a peaceful home without loud noises or hurried movements. Every Underdog has been spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and is up to date on vaccinations. All dogs have had a recent visit to the vet as well.  Adoption fee for Oscar and Thor is sponsored by the Pet Finder foundation.  We offer a 10% discount for seniors, veterans and students. All of our dogs are in foster homes. We have an adoption application, we check references and visit your home as part of our adoption process.   To fill out our Adoption Application please visit our website:  https://underdogsrock.org/adopt-a-dog To Learn more about Underdogs Rock! Story
Oscar is also a sweet old guy who loves snuggling and taking many naps per day. Oscar has a bit of a hitch in his get-along due to a back surgery that he had many years ago. He can get around fairly well most of the time but does have a wobble when he walks and needs to be carried outside and inside to do his business. Oscar does not always have control of his bowels so accidents do happen at times. He loves treats, also of the soft variety due to his lack of a full set of teeth. Oscar is bonded to his brother Thor.  Oscar also gets along with most of our dogs but occasionally becomes territorial if one other than Thor gets too close to him rather suddenly. Oscar has a heart murmur which he takes medication for every day. He, like Thor, would love to be held, carried around, or just coddled 24x7. He too prefers a peaceful home without loud noises or hurried movements. Oscar is a gentle old soul and so very loving. Also Oscar gets antibiotics and a heart medication because he has an infection in his mouth and has a bad heart murmur as well as other heart complications which can only be diagnosed by a cardiologist. The vet has suggested that he be on these meds for the rest of his life in order to give him the best quality of life.  Oscar's has a sponsor for his medication. Story
Meet Chevy! This little guy came to CARE from a rural shelter in a place called Goliad, TX. He is a quiet well behaved 6 month old little pup who is very happy about having a future with a loving forever family! We arent quite sure of Chevy's breed mix but we think he may have some Dachshund in the mix because of his long body and short legs. Since coming to us Chevy has been in a forever home with his brother Rocket and a few playmates and he is settling in very well with family life. Out of both brothers Chevy is the most outgoing one. He loves getting human attention and cuddles. If you think you may be the perfect forever family for Chevy please contact us! To find out more information on this dog please apply to adopt on our website at http://www.caretx.org/adopt and CARE will be in touch with you ASAP!
