Story
2 Puppies found by a relative of coworker of mine. They were going to take them to local shelter. I took them so they would not have to go to shelter. Have already re-homed one. Vet thought she was healthy; maybe 7 or 8 months old; we thought she might be a lab/shepherd mix. Had shots. Will probably have her neutered. Sweet puppy, loves to be loved.

Story
Xena is a beautiful and playful dog, though she is a little skiddish and does not care for loud noises. I think she gets that from her father, he hates thunder, fireworks, and raised voices. Her dad is a chow/lab mix and her mom is a blue heeler mix. We truly want to keep all of our dogs, but between a busy schedule and recent, and continuing, health issues, we can no longer give her the care and love she deserves. She is a little over a year old, and we have already failed her by not being able to provide her with the medical care she needs. She has been wormed periodically, but beyond that, medical bills have prevented us from getting her taken care of. We have been trying to find a responsible rehome for her for several months, but we have had no luck. It is already extremely difficult to let go of her, but we have been so distraught trying to find the right placement for her.

Story
Brutus is a wonderful boy. It breaks our hearts to re-home him but we live in a country farm type situation. We have love stock, chickens, rabbits, dogs, cats, children. Our neighbors have chickens too. Brutus continues to escape from Chain link he climbs it, Electric training collar Pet safe underground fences runs right through it. Tall kennel pen with top he chews digs anything to get out He got a little large to keep indoors and keeps setting the security system off from his crate. He grew up with our now 8 year old grandson so he lives to play ball and to be honest we are always on the road going to ball games and practices and I feel we are not spending the quality time he needs. Our main concern is the killing chickens. Right now it's our own but our neighbors will shoot him.he is too good a pet for that to happen. We love him enough to give him this chance.

Story
Midnight arrived at my house a couple of weeks ago severely burned, but very friendly. I have been taking care of him since then and he has healed up very well. He knows commands, loves to play games, and could be on a basketball team, his fake is great! He has come in the house a few times and was very happy and at peace doing so. He lives outside and loves to run around and sleep on the porch. He likes playing with my dog Spot, but Spot is still a puppy and plays very rough. There was an incident that occurred where they became physical. I believe Midnight would do great in a home where he is the only dog, or there are older, less playful and energetic dogs. Midnight is extremely loyal, and attentive. He is always watching me to make sure everything is okay. He barks until he becomes adjusted, then he is pretty quiet and laid back. He is a great dog and deserves to be in a loving home with someone who is active, and would enjoy a big baby!

Story
I am in urgent need a wonderful home or a foster home for this baby. He is now living on a chain and getting tangled up often, no interaction and isolation. The owner has surrendered him. He is a sweet dog and very submissive. He is two years old, not neutered and no shots in the past year. He is good with other dogs and people. He is about 80 pounds and would be a great lap dog. He definitely needs attention and training. Transportation is available. He is located in Tallassee, Alabama. I will make sure he does not end up in the wrong hands. I will not allow him to be on a chain. I will check out the living arrangements prior to meeting the dog. He will not be handed over just because you volunteer to take him. Do not contact me if.... If you plan on chaining him. If you have a history of losing or giving away your pets. If you do not have the time for him. If your home is not pet friendly.

Story
Meet Annie! This shy girl is looking for her forever family. Annie was brought to the shelter in August 2017 as a pup. This is the only life she has known so she’s a bit shy toward humans she does not know. She just needs someone to take a chance and to have patience as she adjusts to the outside world. Annie is estimated to be around 2.5 years old and is a lab mix. She is also spayed and up to date on vaccinations. She’s waiting on you today!
