Story
Pepper needs a good and loving home. I adopted her from the SPCA. She is house / potty trained. She is spayed, chipped, vaccinated, and groomed monthly. I only must give away my baby due to medical conditions and an upcoming relocation. If you want a loving pet to be by your side, lap, and an alarm detector, Pepper is the one. Pepper is two years old. She would love another dog as a companion and playmate. She sleeps in her crate at night, but would sleep next to a loving human or other canine. I really do not want to let her go, but I must. She sits, shakes, lays down, and runs on command. I have the crate, doggy bed, play toys, six months of flea treatment, blankets, leashes, doggy poop bags, tooth brushes, toothpaste, etc. to go with her.

Story
Sadie was rescued 3.5yrs ago at 13 weeks. She was at a local shelter with 4 other puppies from her litter. Sadie quickly grew to be a large, fun and loving dog. She loves to be cuddled up under covers and can be shy or take time to warm up to new people, especially men. We had hoped Sadie would be able to grow with our family, but as we have had two children in the last two years, it’s become evident that she would be better suited in a home with no children, or grown children. Sadie has never been violent or bitten any of the children, but it’s clear that having toddlers chase her around is not the best environment for her. She is a high energy dog, and a bit more than we can handle with 2 kids under 2. Sadie would be great in an active home, she warms to other dogs quickly and loves lots of one on one cuddles and love. She loves to hike and can be off leash. She has had some training but would benefit from a more rigorous and consistent training regimen.

Story
Chibs is a great dog. We adopted him from the shelter about 5 years ago as a puppy. Chibs has grown up with an older spayed-female pit bull mix...she’s been the dominant dog but their dynamic is shifting because she is getting older and slowing down. This has caused some skirmishes between them. He’s also very gentle with our young kids. Chibs is smart and highly attentive but can also be anxious. We want him to find an owner that can give him more time and attention that we are able to offer. He LOVES to run on a leash and put in the miles. Bikes and skateboards make him skittish...sometimes he redirect his anxiety onto our other dog. He is sweet with our cat but seems ‘very interested’ when he sees unfamiliar cats during our walks. He’s grown up with an older spayed-female pit bull mix-she’s been the dominant dog but is a senior citizen now and their dynamic is shifting. This has caused some skirmishes between them. Best case is an owner with lots of time with Chibs as the solo dog.

Story
Are you an active, adventurous person looking for an enthusiastic sidekick to enjoy the great outdoors with you? Does the thought of a cuddly couch companion who loves to snuggle warm your heart? My name is Nola, and I am eagerly waiting to be adopted by a person or family that matches my energetic, affectionate personality. It truly doesn’t take much to make me happy: a nice walk, a yummy treat, or my absolute favorite - belly rubs. To show my appreciation, I will regularly reward you with a big smile and puppy kisses. I am a quick learner and eager to please. I know basic commands, and I would flourish with additional training/socialization, and a little bit of patience. I am ideal for someone who will treat me like part of the family and involve me in their daily life. I would do well living with children (I love kids; I currently live with three) or a household of one or more adults. At the end of the day, I just want to love and be loved, no matter how big my new family is!

Story
Meet Nola, one year old Staffordshire/Pitbull who cannot get enough of being petted. She’s great with children- comes from a home raised with children of ages 6/7 now 8/9. Loves walks and going to the park. Does not bark at other dogs on walks. Enjoys fetch, but still learning how to give the ball back. She’s smooth in car rides, especially when treated for good behavior. She understands basic commands like sit, wait, go eat, go out/in (in as in the crate). She’s very curious of human behavior. Okay with strangers or house guests. Would recommend basic training/obedience classes to work on other commands. Will do well in a house with children over age 7. Interaction with other dogs is unknown- might prefer no other pets in the home (Unknown).
