Story
My name is Darcy.  I was picked up as a stray by Rancho Cucamongo shelter and pulled by PATCH Rescue March 2017.  I am a female Dalmatian / Beagle mix, born approximately February 2012 and weigh approximately 25 pounds but stand pretty tall, so a medium sized dog.   I am selective about the dogs that I like and pretty much just vocal, so if you have another fur kid, meet & greet is necessary!   I do pretty well on a leash, crate trained, pretty well potty trained and a loving snuggle bug.   I love attention and to be a lap dog.   I could be the PREFECT companion.  Small children make me nervous, but older respectful ones are okay with me.  I have a high prey drive and protective of my space and things, i.e. toys, crate and take small children as a threat.  I do not attend events because I am Cujo in a crate and they are too stressful for me.  I am a total love and sweetheart for the right person. Adoption Includes:  I am spayed, up to date on core vaccines (5 in 1 in, bordetella & 3 year rabies ex. 03/21), dewormed, microchipped and any health issues we were aware of addressed. If Interested PLEASE contact PATCH Rescue Inc. patchrescue@gmail.com or (760) 706-0728 Adopt a Pet Listings = http://www.adoptapet.com/adoption_rescue/93645.html PetFinder Listings =  https://www.petfinder.com/member/us/ca/victorville/patch-rescue-inc-ca2487/   Adoption process is verbal interview to determine if we think your family is the right situation for the fur kid you are interested in, application (can be downloaded here:  https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B9ZDmKaRLnYfbDZLbDN5Y3hYeWM?usp=sharing), once application is reviewed and approved home check.  Then we say you are becoming part of the PATCH family adopting one of our fur kids, so we expect follow up on our family member throughout their life! Please keep in mind we are 100% volunteer run  We do not have a facility, completely foster based, so we all have our real jobs, it could take 24 to 48 hours to receive a response. Story
My name is Bruno I arrived at PATCH Rescue September 2, 2018 after being adopted out.  My family decided to move away and didn't want to take me, so person who adopted me out reached out for help, and here I am looking for love again. I was born approximately February 2, 2012 I am approximately 18 pounds I am a total lover, like to play, run and play fetch.  I am a VERY special boy and PATCH's foster is working VERY hard to rehabilitate me so that maybe I can be a 3 legged dog instead of requiring my wheelchair.  Rehabilitation is aqua therapy, CBD, temporary prednisone.  There is no injury to my bones, just a pinched nerve that went untreated before PATCH, and PATCH doesn't know for how long it went untreated.  I am potty trained but sometimes get too excited and just don't hold it in well enough, so belly band or diapers work well just in case.  I LOVE my foster mommie and in fact get to go to work with her, so if you want to come see me or donate towards my care, come to Fur Babies Pet Salon 18838 Outer Hwy 18 Suite 14 & 15 Apple Valley, CA I LOVE to play and run =  https://www.facebook.com/PATCHRescue/videos/1816584985055238/   Adoption fee includes, fixed, up to date on core vaccines (5 in 1, bordetella & rabies), dewormed, microchipped and any health issues we were aware of addressed. Story
My name is Bandit I arrived at PATCH Rescue 11/20/2019 I was born approximately 11/15/2015 I am approximately 8 pounds  I was found roaming the streets by Hesperia Animal Control.  I like most dogs, however big dogs make me nervous and I feel like I need to show them who is boss so I snap at them. I love attention and I have a bunch of energy.  I love people and hope you will love me as much as I will love you.  I am deaf, which doesn't slow me down and I am learning sign language! Will you be my furever family? Adoption fee includes:  fixed, up to date on core vaccines (5 in 1, bordetella & rabies), dewormed, microchipped and any health issues we were aware of addressed. Story
My name is Gidget I arrived at PATCH Rescue November 20, 2018 after spending time in Hesperia Animal Control and being picked up off the mean streets of Hesperia, CA. I was born approximately November 7, 2012 I am approximately 56 pounds I LOVE to play but NOT by myself, I want you to play with me furever!  I will play so long and hard, my toe nails bleed, so be careful to play on soft surface and stop playing with me to let me catch my breath!  I am pretty good about potty training, as long as you are diligent.  Crate trained, although I LOVE to sit with you, snuggle with you and will sleep just fine in your bed, next to you in a dog bed, etc...I am protective of my person and will bark fiercely at people entering the house.  I do pretty well with other big dogs, caution with little dogs.  As long as another dog does not challenge me, I am usually just vocal about my displeasure of another dog getting close to my person or food.  Will you provide the furever home, I so richly deserve?! Adoption fee includes:  fixed, up to date on core vaccines (5 in 1, bordetella & rabies), dewormed, microchipped, growth tested & removed from paw and any health issues we were aware of addressed.
