Luke came from the van Buren pound, hes 7 months old and ball of energy. Loves to be petted and loves to play. Our other dog did not take to him and is aggressive towards luke. The ideal home for him should have space for him to run and play and where he can be loved constantly from his trips to the dog park he like to chase and be chased by other dogs his size or smaller.

Story
Herbie was adopted from a distant acquaintance 5 years ago when he was 1 yr old. He has always been a very nervous, aggressive, and reactive dog. My mom has kept him because he is very close to her and he is not aggressive towards her. However, he has bitten both adults, children, and other dogs in the past and it has become increasingly difficult for her to have guests over. With his aggressive behavior, we cannot take him to a no-kill shelter, but we also want to avoid taking him to a kill shelter. We are hopeful that with some love and professional and experienced trainers, he can improve his behavior and be able to find a happy home. We have neither the time nor the resources to provide the attention this dog requires.

Details
Good with kids, Good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Sheila was abandoned at the pet hospital I work at as a Veterinary Technician. She was left in the back courtyard with a collar and leash attached. Sheila is house trained and leash trained. She will even hold the leash in her mouth. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, clean health with blood work and radiograph records. All services were rendered through veterinary clinic. I work full time + hours and am a single mom to a 3 year old autistic daughter. I don't think I am the right owner for Sheila. She needs more attention and time than I have to give. She seems lonely. I thought I was doing the right thing by taking her in, but I think she needs more than I can offer her. She is a lover who loves going for walks and smelling things. She seems nervous with other dogs barking or traffic at intersections. I can let her in the front yard without a leash and comes when called. I think her previous owner was an older person who passed and existing family abandoned her.

She’s a sweetheart unfortunately I can’t keep at the house I am at. She’s been fixed but she does have problems with other dogs. She never fought with the dogs she’s lived with but she has when I have been searching for a new home home for her. I have a short amount of time to keep her where I am.
