Story
Introducing Amelia, an absolutely darling 1-year-old corgi mix who has recently become part of our care. Amelia's journey began when she was found as a stray at Riverside Shelter, sadly without anyone to claim her. Though her past remains a mystery, we are dedicated to ensuring her future shines bright with us. Amelia is a gentle soul who may initially be a bit shy and reserved, needing some time to feel comfortable around new people. However, we have no doubt that with patience and love, she will quickly warm up and show her true, affectionate nature. We envision Amelia thriving in a calm and quiet household where she can have the space and time she needs to adjust and come out of her shell. While Amelia has not yet had the opportunity to interact with young children, we recommend a home with gentle or older kids who can understand and respect her need for patience and gentle introductions. As for other furry companions, Amelia has not been tested with other dogs or cats, but we believe she has the potential to get along well with them given the right introduction and proper guidance. If you feel that Amelia could be the perfect addition to your family, we invite you to complete our online application and come visit us to spend some time getting to know her. We are confident that once you meet this sweet girl, you will see the incredible love and joy she has to offer. Adoptions operate on a first-come, first-serve basis, so complete an application online at pricelesspetrescue.org to make this sweet dog a cherished member of your family today!
