Story
Our Jax is one of a kind with the face of a freckled baby cow. Just look at that face. How can you resist kissing it? We can’t. Jax is timid and a bit (very) standoffish, but once he warms up to you, he is a total love bug. He is a strong active pup who is afraid of the world, but slowly becoming a brave boy who wants to explore. Jax loves other dogs and would blossom and gain self confidence with the help of a 4 legged friend and a yard in which he can play and romp. Come visit and sit with our little cowboy. It may take several visits, but you won’t be sorry. If you have the patience to accept him at his pace, he will fill your life with endless laughter and love. The SBACC will help Jax reach his potential by providing training. All Jax needs is a loving family willing to provide him with the life he deserves. Be that lucky family.   *Our Adoption Process* We  have an adoption process including an application and formal interview.  Coming to meet the dog is not a guarantee that you will be approved.   We  don't do first come,  we do best fit for each dog and family.  If you are coming from a distance,  we  encourage you fill out our online application prior to coming to meet the dog.  Please email contact@sbacc.org with any questions.  Thank you for your interest in one of our dogs!

Story
Meet Rosie and Rocky!  They are a bonded pair that need to go home together!  The cool thing about that is that you get twice the cuteness, twice the love and a pair who will keep each other company when you are busy. They are the sweetest dogs who love their walks, and love each other. Rosie is mostly blind, but do not let that put you off as she has her very own seeing eye dog, Rocky!  He walks alongside her when they walk so you just have to be a little extra careful walking them to steer a safe path for them.  Dogs with poor or no sight soon get used to a new home.  They learn where things are and navigate, so long as you do not keep moving furniture around . Are you that extra special person that is prepared to take two dogs, and ensure these two lovelies get a forever home together?  You will be rewarded with the joy of these sweet souls who just need that second chance of having a place to call home. *We have an adoption process including an application and formal interview. Coming to meet the dog is not a guarantee that you will be approved. We don‘t do first come, we do best fit for each dog and family. Story
Our precious, bonded pair, Georgia and Dexter, are the yin and yang of our little shelter. Though a bit timid and unsure of our great big world, together they provide each other with the confidence to explore the unknown and blossom. Give them a little time to settle into your lifestyle and the opportunity to get to know you and your heart will sing with happiness.       This dynamic duo has endless fun chasing one another in the yard. Dexter is thrilled to grab Georgia by the tail and Georgia is just as happy giving it back and taking him down for the count. No wonder they are in such great shape. These two pups are a hoot and their antics will keep you smiling and laughing.  Who needs a big screen!     When they aren’t busy playing, Georgia and Dexter can’t resist a comfortable lap for cuddling, endless belly rubs, scratches and being brushed. They just want to be with you and share the love.     SBACC family and friends, you can’t go wrong adding Georgia and Dexter to your family. They will melt your heart and remind you that life has challenges, but is meant to be filled with fun, laughter and endless doggie hugs and kisses.  DNA RESULTS: Georgia - 25% English Setter, 25% Miniature Poodle, 50% Herding, Sight Hound, Sporting Breeds Dexter - 37.5% Miniature Poodle, 12.5% Keeshond, 12.5% Boxer, 37% Hound, Terrier, Herding Groups *Our Adoption Process* W e  have an adoption process including an application and formal interview.  Coming to meet the dog is not a guarantee that you will be approved.   We  don ' t   do   first   come ,  we   do  best fit for each dog and family.  If you are coming from a distance,  we  encourage you fill out our online application prior to coming to meet the dog.  Please email contact@sbacc.org with any questions.  Thank you for your interest in one of our dogs!
