Story
We have been watching Penny for a month. My daughter could no longer take care of her. Penny is the sweetest dog we have ever had. She is a pit-bull/boxer and is a gentle dog. Penny has anxiety separation when left for a long period of time. She loves to be around people. She sleeps in our room with my husband and I. Penny is great with my 6 and 11 year old grandsons. We love her but we are both in our late 60’s and want to start traveling but most importantly we want to find Penny a loving home.

Story
Petunia is a 2 year old, female, blue/gray pittbull. She is around 50-60 pounds, has hazel eyes, is spayed, chipped, and is up to date on all vaccinations. She has been fully trained by LoveUrK9 (dog training and behaviorist) ! Petunia is very playful and loving - she is a total family dog and is great with children. (She does have some issue with some men). She has some behavior issues when it comes to living with other animals. Petunia's former owners, although able to care for her, have 3 other dogs. They rescued Petunia from an abusive situation and although Petunia cannot stay with their family, they have generously paid for her training. Whoever adopts her will receive the training benefits. Benefits include $50 boarding with tune-up trainings with LoveURK9 (pending availability). LoveUrK9 will continue to foster and sponsor Petunia.

Story
Super Nova is a fantastic senior chihuahua, she is 10yrs old and after being dumped in North Central Animal Shelter no one gave her a second thought, her nails were long, she was neglected. WE rescued Nova and spiffed her up and removed mammary tumors, cleaned her teeth and she's good as new. Nova was clearly left outside 24/7 so her eyes are a tad hazy but not from cataracts instead from UV light over time. She can see just fine though. Nova is nice, she likes other dogs and bonds to her human very FAST! She loves food and loves leash walking. Nova is an easy dog, she likes to "perch" and be on a couch or chair and get as high as she can lol! She acts almost cat like in that way. Nova lives with bunnies right now and is fine with them. Adopt lovely senior, Nova! www.gonetothedogsrescue.org/adoption-application

Story
We got Lion from the Downey Animal Shelter in Downey, California. She was on the 48-hour kill-list and we could not let her be put down. She is a sweetheart, only 2 years old, and absolutely loves cuddling, playing, and eating. We have taken her to the dog park and she does extremely well with all other dogs. We also have a small chihuahua and they get along fine. We want Lion to have the best possible living environment. She does best in a family environment, with an enclosed yard. It takes Lion some time to get used to people, so she can be a bit timid and shy at first. She should not be approached quickly, but rather let her warm up to you in her own way for the first few days and make sure to give her lots of treats. She also does best with a designated area, like a crate or an enclosed patio, for sleeping and during the day. She requires lots of walks and care, so only inquire if you know that you have the time and availability to take good care of her.
