Story

My name is Dwight I would do best in a townhouse, condo or apartment with a patio or balcony. I weigh all of 7 lbs. Am affectionate and have a quirky personality. If you are talking to me and looking at me, I turn my head to one side making you think I'm aloof but that's just a game. I like to spend time outside and a balcony or patio would be a safe environment. I am not a barker except if crated with a 'closed door'. I am great on a leash and enjoy walk,s. I would need a male belly band for a while as I get used to the routine of a new home. I fret when crated with a closed door but would be fine if the door was open. I am in good health, having had a senior blood panel and dental last year, 2018. Dwight and his sibling, Dennis (see separate post) were reclaimed from an adoptive home after their owner of 9 years was incarcerated and has since passed away. Dwight is a pom mix neutered male. He weighs about 7 lbs., has the thick corgi coat but is mostly Pom and is good with all dogs and cat tolerant. We have decided to place Dwight and his brother, Dennis who was adopted 3/7/20, were competitive so we felt they would do fine independently placed which has proved to be true.

Joey came into the San Pedro Aninal Shelter and was chipped but the chip phone # wasn't working. He was rescued and is now available for adoption in the southbay area or Long Beach. The restrictive area is due to the CorVir19. He weights 16 lbs., is good with dogs his size and needs to drop a couple of lbs. He is only 3 years old. Adoption process includes a meet/greet, pre adopt ap done on line via email, homecheck, two week trial period and adoption contract.

Story

The shelter named him Happy. He may be coming into this rescue after 4/8/20 and is currently at the San Pedro Shelter. He is definitley a pug mix. Not sure what else he might be mixed with. He was a little defensive when he first came into the shelter, scared most likely. He will be in foster as he will be neutered prior to release and it will take a good week for him to chill out. He will be current on his vaccinations and microchipped. Best with easy going older adults. We'll see how he does with other dogs, preferrably his size.
