***COURTESY POST*** Meet Chico and Bobo, this bonded pair of tiny boys have been displaced due to divorce. Chico (tan) is 5 pounds and is 11 years old. Bobo (black/brown) is 3 pounds and is 10 years old. Both are good with kids although due to their extra small sizes should not be placed with small children in the home. Good with all people and even other dogs. They have never been exposed to cats  but again, due to their tiny sizes, should not be left unattended with cats. Both are up to date with their shots and potty trained. If interested, please call Sandy at 714-251-0713 or email at sandyxle@hotmail.com

Story
Meet Sullivan AKA Sully!   Sully has had an unknown but admittedly hard life to date, He was picked up by the OC shelter as a stray, eyes dilated, shaky and convulsive. It was clear to the vet that he had suffered some kind of abuse. It also became clear that he had a neurological condition, possibly caused by abuse as well. When Sully first came into my home he was easily startled and very jumpy, Over the past few weeks I have had the pleasure of seeing his personality emerge! He is putting on weight, gaining balance and some measure of control, but he will always be a special needs pup. According to the vet there is nothing that can be done conclusively to correct his neurological issues, but that should not deter him form having a full life filled with love, safety and security. Here are some truths about Sully: He has trouble with balance, he appears to be weak at times and is only energetic in small spurts. He cannot jump up onto anything and has trouble with stairs. He will curl up in his bed for hours but prefers to sleep with you at night. He will hold his bladder all night long while he is on the bed, but put him on the floor and all bets are off! He will trot, bounce, prance and entertain you for days with his goofy playful manner! Admittedly he is going to need extra care and attention, but as you watch his trust and love blossom, it will all be worth it! Could you give a dog like Sully the commitment he deserves? Message for additional photos and/or video clips.

Story
*****COURTESY POST, PLEASE CONTACT OWNER DIRECTLY*****   Name: Blue Age: 5 years  Breed: unknown mixed (mom was an American Bulldog)  Health: no known health problems, up to date on vaccinations. Has seen the the vet regularly but is not spayed yet but WILL be soon. (She has never had puppies.) Temperament: she is calm and sweet. She likes to play fetch and will follow kids as they play. She is great with our cat but does not do well with dogs (she did so well with the older dogs we had but they died from old age, they were 15 and 17). She is house broken (has never had an accident in the house). She is awesome with our kids and their friends. She has never bitten a person only our current small young dog. She does become nervous with strange dogs (walks can be hard), but she does well with a harness. She hasn’t had any formal training, but follows directions (sit, stay, come and similar). She will stay in a Desired area that we tell her to without needing a physical barrier. She weighs appropriately 75-80 pounds.  The vet said that she requires an experienced home with no other dogs and no children (just to be on the safe side). She has never been aggressive to us or any visitors that we have (but she is a good watch dog).   Please contact Ashley if interested in Blue: Ash82402@aol.com

Story
**COURTESY POST*** Say hello to Bodhi!   Bodhi is a 2-3 year-old male (neutered) Pit Bull mix with a laid back attitude and goofy personality! He is a medium- sized boy; approximately 60 lbs., housetrained, crate trained and sweet as can be!  Bodhi is very easy going and affectionate and smart. Love doggy kisses? He has plenty to go around! Would you like a TV/nap partner? Bodhi would love to fill that desire! Love to walk or hike? Bodhi  does too! Wondering about basic commands? He’s got those down!  Bodhi understands and responds to, “Sit”, “wait” and “go to your crate” and will be eager to learn more! Does spending money on doggy toys make you giddy? Bodhi would love for you to help him continue learning about toys and how to play with them. His current favorite game is tug, and he will do a happy dance if you give him a Kong or a  stuffed animal friend. Bodhi is the king of knowing how to relax. Indoors or outside in the sun, you can usually find him enjoying a snooze. He is so calm, he would most likely be good with children. He has been exposed to kids in his current neighborhood, and is extremely tolerant of them. Currently, he is working on his manners to not jump up on people to greet them. He’s just so wiggly and friendly, he can’t help it! Bodhi may be insecure around new dogs and is probably best as the only pet, but with proper introductions he gets along with other dogs. Although he isn’t overly active, he would love 2-3 walks/day, and would be fine in a house or apartment equally.  He just wants to snuggle up and be your cuddle buddy! Bodhi is waiting for YOU!  One feel of his velvety fur or a loving look into his golden eyes might just convince you to make him yours! If you think this sweet boy would make a wonderful addition to your home, please contact Julie at juliemikey@me.com.

Story
**COURTESY POST** Owner is dying of cancer and given only a few months to live. A home was found and the pup fell in love with her new owner/family that kindly took her in, but the new owners have other dogs and Maggie is not doing well with them. She's the sweetest dog to humans but needs to be in a home where either she's the only pup or has a strong leader who is able to set boundaries. It was promised to the original owner that her dog would not go to a shelter, but time is running out and Maggie needs your help. MAGGIE - 8 YEARS OLD - PIT/BEAGLE MIX- IN EXCELLENT HEALTH - SUPER AFFECTIONATE AND SWEET AS PIE TO HUMANS. For inquiries about Maggie or if you are interested in adopting this sweet girl, she is currently being fostered by Rescue Ranch Animal Rescue, Sanctuary & Rehabilitation in the Inland Empire. You can contact Nina at 760-989-6744.
