Story
We bought Bandit from a breeder. He was born on November, 9th 2013. He has been a part of our family every since. We lived in Las Vegas and have moved to California cost. Bandit is experiencing a allergy to his new environment. We have been told by multiple vets that he is allergic to the moisture in the air and need to go back to Vegas in the dry climate. Sounds crazy.... but we have tried everything, like diet, vitamins, injections, nothing is working and his skin is pink and flairs up and down. He is irritated and can’t be feeling good. We just want him to have a good home with someone who will love him and take great care of him. He is such a loving dog and would make anyone who loves dogs happy.

Story
Unfortunately, we have to rehome our pup due to very personal matters. The decision is gut wrenching so serious and understanding inquiries are appreciated. Axel is approximately 1 year and 10 months! After warming up to people, he can be lovable, playful and obedient. He is out of his puppy chewing phase and is well behaved in the home knowing his different commands! Commands include: sit, down, place, wait, leave it and heel. He walks well on the leash after training, but still needs reinforcement as he gets easily distracted. As of now, his behavior is unpredictable, but he has completed some training! I believe in the future with very dedicated, patient and healthy owners, Axel could possibly become ok with other people, animals, and kids. He will need a very experienced dog handler who is comfortable and willing to working with dogs who need a bit more special training and attention. If you’re interested, please reach out! We are looking for people who love Axel as we do.

Story
Beau is 7 yrs old Great Dane. He is a very obedient dog, house trained, potty trained , neutered. Walks great on the lease. Very calm, chilled temperament. He has no separation anxiety. He has no health issues. I’ve owned him since he was 9 weeks old. He has has a lot of professional training in his early years, due to him having fear aggression with strangers. He is a skittish type of dog and has been ever since I got him at 9 weeks. However he is a sweet loving dog to us. He does not get on well with other dogs since he got attacked 4 years ago by some bad dog who picked on my boy & no young children. He never been around young children. Are you able to help, can you put him on your website or do you know someone who are looking for a Dane. It’s important for us to find a suitable forever home.

Story
Everyone welcome Beau (fka Nod). Beau is a 1-year-old neutered male Pointer/American Staffordshire mix.  He is a very sweet boy who weighs about 60 pounds, perfect size. He is such a cuddle bug who loves just being with you on the couch or bed. He loves to play with squeaky and Kong toys.  He loves people especially kids.  He knows sit, shake, lie down and stay.  We do recommend a home without other animals.  He is not reactive on a leash and he does get along with some small dogs, but we feel he would do best as an only dog. He is crate trained, great on a leash and loves going on walks. He is a little shy and timid at first but warms up quickly.  Beau is up to date on his vaccinations, has been neutered and is microchipped.  If interested in meeting or adopting Beau, please go to www.LOLR.org and fill out an adoption application.  Beau is a really nice boy and deserves his forever. ##348369##

Story
Everyone meet Captain Crunch! Captain Crunch is an 8 year old male Chihuahua that was an owner surrender AFTER finding himself in two other high kill shelters (SEAACA & San Bernardino City Animal Shelters). One of our board members saw his post and decided that we needed to rescue this precious boy. Once we got him, it was VERY obvious that something was wrong, very wrong. His front legs seem to collapse and if he tries to walk on any uneven ground, he falls face first. Our vets have determined that he has congenital leg deformities with his front legs. His joints, ligaments and tendons prevent his legs from staying in socket. Sadly, there is no surgery or treatment that can fix him but we do have him on medication to help keep the inflammation down and make him comfortable. If this was not enough for the poor boy, his teeth were a horrible mess and we did get him the dental he so desperately needed. He is also getting bi-weekly Accuscope treatments to help strengthen his ligaments. We are now looking into a harness that will help his front limbs tremendously.  The good news is that Captain Crunch is always smiling, is happy as can be and has the best personality. He has been neutered, had an extreme dental, is up to date on his vaccinations and is also microchipped.  If interested in adopting Captain Crunch, please go to www.lolr.org and fill out an adoption application.  Captain Crunch's adoption fee is sponsored, however, all of our other standard protocols for adoption will be in place. ##166886##
