Story

Penny is a one year old petite female husky mix. We rescued Penny from the shelter and didn't know she was pregnant. Once we got her home we figured she had some babies in there! 2 weeks later she had 5 healthy puppies. Penny came to us with very bad kennel cough and was so miserable and pregnant and then after birth she got a blockage infection and had to have emergency surgery for that and ween from her babies after 4 weeks of being the best mama dog ever. She made a full recovery and through it all remained the sweetest and happiest girl ever. She is such a joy to have around. She has a hilarious and sweet personality. She always hs to be cuddled in someones lap and laying right beside us when we sleep. She is eager to please, social with dogs and cats, and just the most loving dog you'll ever meet.
