Story
Jessie was wandering the streets when a kind animal lover discovered her. No tags, collar or any method of identifying her owner was found. GSROC could not bear the thought of this beautiful girl alone and on her own.   She is approximately 3 years old and has a quiet nature. She is quiet and somewhat unsure around strangers right now. Jessie is not sure exactly what has happened to her and she is uncertain. Recently we introduced Jessie to some cats. She let us know in no uncertain terms that she is not a fan of felines! Due to her reaction, we believe she would do best in a home with no small dogs or cats. We are just getting to know Jessie and will update her profile shortly. Please go to our website and complete an adoption application at: /https://www.gsroc.org/application/  An adoption counselor will contact you to go over your application and assist you in determining which dog may be best for your particular situation.

Story
Rocky is a 7 year old boy who likes other dogs both big and small.  He lived with both in his home.  Unfortunately, his family lost their home and were unable to find a rental property that would allow them to have Rocky.  They turned to GSROC for help. Rocky is devastated at the loss of his home and family.   He is depressed and hardly eating.   A secure yard is needed for Rocky during this adjustment phase.   He desperately needs someone to let him know that he is secure and loved.   Would you be able to foster him? Rocky is housebroken and walks easily on a leash.  Our volunteers have been spending time with him to cheer him up.  Recently we introduced this dog to a cat.   He appeared uninterested.  We believe, with proper introduction, he may be able to live with a cat. Please go to our website and complete an adoption application at: /https://www.gsroc.org/application/  An adoption counselor will contact you to go over your application and assist you in determining which dog may be best for your particular situation.

Story
Sheba is a happy go lucky young girl.  She is approximately a year old and still very much a puppy.   Sheba likes everyone she meets and loves to make friends!   Friendly and sweet, she is an instant hit whenever she goes to an adoption event.  She has a fluffy blond coat that is soft and thick.    She walks well on a leash and likes car rides.  Sheba does not like small dogs.  We believe she is a mix of a GSD and a golden retriever.     Like all young dogs, Sheba is full of puppy energy and inquisitiveness.   She is playful and very curious.   She will not do well in a home where she is on her own for long periods of time because she would be too lonely.        Please go to our website and complete an adoption application at: /https://www.gsroc.org/application/  An adoption counselor will contact you to go over your application and assist you in determining which dog may be best for your particular situation.

Story
3 year  old Logan became too much for his the woman who owned him.   She worked long hours and as Logan grew and became stronger and more energetic, she realized she could not provide the type of home he deserved.   Broken hearted, but determined to do the right thing for the dog she loved, she turned to GSROC for help. Logan is now with GSROC and we have promised to help him find an active and loving home.   He is a young guy with tons of energy and strong.     Smart as a whip, he loves to keep busy and learn new things.  He will thrive in a home that provides him with structure and commits to his training. Logan is learning to live with structure and limits.  He has developed certain ideas of what behavior is appropriate.  Our volunteers are spending time teaching him that he does not get to be in charge.    Check out one of his training videos! Please go to our website and complete an adoption application at: /https://www.gsroc.org/application/  An adoption counselor will contact you to go over your application and assist you in determining which dog may be best for your particular situation.
