Story
Max is a sweet boy who was rescued by a Poochmatch volunteer and a local businessman in San Bernardino who trapped Max for us right before Animal Control was going to pick him up. He is a lucky little guy. Since being rescued, his fur has filled out absolutely beautifully and his coat is now SO soft and fluffy! Max is around 8 years young and weighs 7 pounds fully-grown. Max has had his last dental, removing his last tooth, now he eats wet food all the time without a worry of dental hygiene. He is very mellow and he gets along great with other dogs. He loves all people and is well-mannered. He is quite the snuggly dog and would be a wonderful companion for someone who wants a loving pup to cuddle and lounge at home with. For someone who is looking for unconditional love and fluffiness, he could be your guy! Maximillian's adoption fee is $250 and covers the cost of his neuter, all core vaccines (Rabies and Distemper/Parvo), deworming, microchip and microchip registration. If you’d like to meet him, please complete an adoption application which is available on our website, poochmatch.com, under the adoption tab. Please read the following paragraphs for additional information. If this listing is still posted, we are still accepting applications for him/her. We do not do out-of-state adoptions on highly adoptable dogs; we would only consider out-of-state adoptions for dogs that prove hard-to-place locally. We cannot hold dogs, please submit your application when you are ready to adopt. If you are interested in meeting any Poochmatch dog at our weekly adoption event on Saturdays at the Petsmart in Yorba Linda, CA (5521 Mirage St.) between 1-5 PM, please fill out an application from our website, poochmatch.com, and submit it no later than 11 AM on Fridays. Upon receipt AND approval, the dog you are interested in meeting will be made available to meet on a Saturday. Due to the high volume of dogs and puppies in our foster homes, it is impossible to bring them all every Saturday. The only way to ensure that the dog that you are interested in will be at the adoption event is to FILL OUT AN APPLICATION AND BE APPROVED. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee that the dog you are interested in will be at our adoption event. If you cannot make the time frame of our events, appointments can be made at another time and location solely at the discretion of the foster parent. Please understand that private appointments will be coordinated to meet the convenience of the foster parent/transporter. All adoption fees cover the mandatory and non-negotiable spay/neuter, rabies, microchip, microchip registration, full sets of core vaccinations (rabies and 1 set of distemper/parvo for adults, 4 for puppies) and deworming. Adoption fees vary based on age, breed, size and the costs incurred on the dog's behalf by us i.e. medical, behavioral training, etc. and they range from $225-$495.

Story
Deluca is a gorgeous 9 year-old female Staffordshire /pit mix who weighs around 50 pounds. Don't be fooled by her age, she still has tons of puppy energy - she walks/runs over 5 miles per day, loves to play fetch, swim, and play with well-balanced large breed dogs! She's also an absolute love with her humans - while inside she's a snuggle bug that loves treats, naps and playing with her toys. She's well trained, responsive to commands, sleeps on long car rides, and isn’t a barker. She is crate-trained and walks well on a leash. Deluca was surrendered by her owners who could no longer care for her. Her adoption fee is $250 and covers the cost of her spay, all core vaccines (Rabies and Distemper/Parvo), deworming, microchip and microchip registration. If you’d like to meet her, the first step is completing an application which is available on our website, Poochmatch.com, under the adoption tab. Story
Carmen is about 2-3 years old and weighs 13 pounds. She is sociable and playful with other dogs. She’s curious about everything and has an independent personality. Carly, Carmen and Casper were rescued from a hoarder who had 15 dogs in the house - none received any kind of attention or socialization and they were all fairly feral. Being so young, Carmen is able to work on her social skills little by little. She has no aggression, she’s neither a barker nor a biter - she’s just unsure of new people and her impulse is to run. She will require a very special adopter, one with compassion, patience and time, to allow her to adjust to a new home on her own time. Carmen is crate-trained and doesn't mind just relaxing in her people's laps. Her adoption fee is $295 which covers the cost of her spay, all core vaccines (Rabies and Distemper/Parvo), deworming, microchip and microchip registration. If you are interested in adopting, please complete an application, available on our website, poochmatch.com, under the adoption tab and please read the paragraphs below for more details on our process. Story
Mimi is about 2-3 years old and weighs 50 pounds. She is an outgoing, playful, good-natured gal who loves snacks and wrestling her foster brother, Max (who has since been adopted). She does well with large dogs, but has a prey instinct and cannot be around small dogs or cats. She’s a wonderful companion, and eager to please her people. She’s crate-trained. She’s active and energetic and would do best in a home that can channel her energy in constructive ways with a yard, a playful canine pal and/or active adopters. She is very food-motivated and loves treats! Mimi was rescued as a stray, when her rescuer was unable to locate her owners, she was surrendered to us to find her a forever home. Her adoption fee is $295 and covers the cost of her spay, all core vaccines (Rabies and Distemper/Parvo), deworming, microchip and microchip registration. If you’d like to be considered for adoption, please complete an adoption application, available on our website, poochmatch.com under the adoption tab and read the following paragraphs for more details on our process.
