A neighbor of mine had two chihuahuas in a crate outside in the cold for days for almost the entire day everyday and when i asked her why she did this she said because she doesn’t want them and “gave” them to me. Oso is the name on his tag, he is not neutered but is house trained and doesn’t bark much at alll he is sweet with my small kids but my family pet is also no neutered and he is the “king” of the house so they butt heads. I can’t take care of them as this was temporary just to get them out of the cold i couldn’t stand to see them outside in a crate another day. From looking at him i see red in one eye I am not an experience dog owner therefore i do not know what it is

This is “blacky” that’s the name on her tag. A neighbor of mine had two chihuahuas in a crate outside on their tiny porch with nothing more than a thin blanket: they stayed in the crate for days and all day long lonely. I got upset and asked her why she did this she said because she doesn’t want them. It broke my heart so i let them come inside my home to keep warm. She lifts her left hind leg when she walks and it seem to hurt her...I’ve never met these dogs until now so i cannot say for sure why or how she was hurt. She is not spayed but is quiet and sweet. She seems sad but wags her tail as soon as we come close and has been a good girl. I cannot keep her i just wanted her out of the cold until i could find someone to take her

Introducing Kamirah! This girl was just settling in at the shelter when I met her Thursday. She’s quite energetic & definitely on the slim side - currently weighing in at only 36 pounds. It can be difficult to gauge a dog’s true personality on their first day at the shelter due to the stressful environment, but I thought she was a sweetheart. Kamirah’s estimated date of birth is 1/31/18. In comparing her physical traits to others she could possibly be a mix between a Husky & a Pit. She has a beautiful Brindle coat & is spayed & vaccinated. Spend some time with Kamirah outside of the shelter & get to know her. She just might be the next love of your life ❤️🐾
