Story
August is a great dog, he just needs understanding and patience. He needs a home without kids. He likes space and mainly enjoys being by himself. He does not like to be messed with while he was sleeping, hates being in his crate, and is a resource guarder, so he needs to eat by himself and struggles with sharing toys, so a home where he will be the only dog will be best, but if you are able to feed him separately, it will also work. We are rehoming him because he is couch and crate bound due to him growling at my baby, and I cannot risk it. His mother has the same behavior issues, which is why I put "unknown" under special needs. If you are looking for a low maintenance dog, August is for you. I will require us to be facebook friends so I can keep up with my dog, as I am very heartbroken over this.

Story
ARROW - AVAILABLE IN THE MIDWEST AND NEW ENGLAND Meet Arrow! SWEET CHAP HE IS!!!. Arrow is a 2-3 year old fabulous lab mix. He is probably mixed with a little Shepard but definitely mixed with a whole lot of sweetness. Arrow was another great boy who was adopted out as a young pup to wonderful adopters. Weird thing was, he was great with EVERYONE! The young kids, the mother, the next door neighbors and even all of the strangers he has ever met! But he did not like the husband. Weird huh? After some investigation, we learned that the husband was a nice man, didn’t spend much time at home (due to his job), but treated him well and this little stinker just did not like him. So we placed him in foster and he had a little issue with the foster dad, but not the mother, or the young children. He has slept in the bed with them all and is just a loving boy. Now he is back at LLR headquarters and is getting along well with men, women and children. We are not sure of why but we believe that he needs a home with a woman or women and kids too! or a very patient man (lol). He is really super great and we can’t believe he is having this issue and we think it is just living with a man in the same house. He is fine with everyone outside of the home. Perplexed? We are too. So ladies, this boy is totally awesome with a slight flaw. He is good with other dogs but can be a dominant boy. He would make a great running partner, hiking buddy and a good old snuggle bug! He would do well with a family that is home a lot. He loves his play mate here at LLR, house trained, hasn’t shown any issues and is just adorable. Please, if you think you are his Lady, complete an online app and request him in the notes section. He is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations and is heart worm negative. He is microchipped and kept on frontline and heart guard. Let us know. He is too precious! If you would like to give Arrow a forever home please fill out an application on www.luckylabrescue.com and list Arrow in the notes.

Story
This beautiful lady is Snooki. Snooki is the mother to our Hawaiian puppies. Snooki was a wonderful mother and her puppies have been adopted. It is now time for Snooki to find her forever home. Have you been looking for a smaller lab? You need to look no further than Snooki. She is a lab beagle mix and is the perfect size for every home. She is a gentle, calm lady who is looking for someone to love her forever. Snooki loves people and gets along great with other dogs. Cats are an unknown. Snooki will fit right into your home and life. She is looking forward to a pampered life of love and treats and maybe a nap on the couch. Obedience training will be needed to learn all those house manners. We believe she will do great with young and older children. Snooki is looking forward to some nice leisurely walks around the neighborhood. She is eager to make friends with everyone. Snooki is approximately four years old. She has been spayed, is current on vaccinations and on monthly preventives and microchipped. If you are interested in adopting, please apply at www.luckylabrescue.com and indicate “Snooki” in the notes section.

Story
This is Lady. The name Lady brings to mind pictures of a grand, loving and gentle being and our Lady will not disappoint. Lady is very mild mannered, loves other dogs and people. She may seem a little reserved at first, but will warm up to you quickly. Lady is medium size, weighs approximately 55 pounds and we guess her to be around 6 years young. Lady would love to hang out with you in the yard, snuggling watching tv or laying at your feet while you cook dinner. This girl will need an obedience class to strengthen her good skills and learn a few new ones. She wants to prove that you can teach an old dog new tricks. Lady is the sweetest girl. She is simply adorable. Lady is spayed, current on vaccinations and on monthly preventives. She will be microchipped before adoption. If you are interested in adopting, please apply at www.luckylabrescue.com and indicate “Lady” in the notes section.

Story
This is Indiana and she is so special. We believe Indiana to be a lab and boxer mix. She is a gorgeous girl. She is very mild mannered and is a gentle girl. She is practically perfect. Indiana is about 3 years old and weighs about 50 pounds. She is a medium energy girl. With a little training, she will be the perfect walking partner. Indiana loves people and wants to meet everyone. She has not been cat tested. Indiana will benefit greatly from obedience training. She needs to learn those house manners and needs to understand the new rules of living in a house. Indiana is looking for a loving forever home. Any children in her forever home will need to be older as she may knock over younger children. Indiana would love a fenced in yard where she can run and play. She will need exercise. A tired dog is a happy and well behaved dog. Consider giving Indiana a chance, you will not be disappointed. Indiana has a lifetime of devotion and love to give to her new family. Indiana has been spayed, is current on vaccinations and on monthly preventives and microchipped. Story
AVAILABLE IN THE MIDWEST AND NEW ENGLAND REGIONS...Kit!!! Loyal, elegant, gorgeous, exquisite, dazzling, magnificent that are not enough words to describe Kit. Just look at this girl. Kit can be your new best friend. Kit is a large girl at 70lbs and is approximately 5 years old. Kit is well past those silly puppy years and is looking to give some serious love. She has entered those mellow years and is happiest laying at the feet of the nearest person. People are her one true love. She loves going for trail walks and stays close to her foster family. She loves going on car rides and is very calm and chill in the car. Kit is low energy but get excited about seeing people after an absence or when guests arrive. Will play fetch for a few rounds but then likes to relax and chew on the ball when she is done. How about cats you ask. She has shown playful interest in the barn cats. They did not respond nicely so she now just ignores them. She has been caught stealing their food on occasion. She is also good with chickens, for the most part. She mostly ignores the chickens, but will occasionally try to stir them up. Never with the intent to harm them. Kit will do best as being the only dog in the home. Kit will also need to go to a home with children over the age of 6. Kit has food aggression and will get into a brawl over food. She does not want to share. Applicants with a history of food aggressive dogs, who have other dogs in the home, will be considered. Kit needs an adopter who is willing to help her get off a few extra pounds. She will need regular exercise to stay at a healthy weight. Kit is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and kept on monthly preventatives. If you are interested in adopting her, go to www.luckylabrescue.com and complete an adoption application. Indicate “Kit” in the notes section.
