Story
Jesse-Boxer X male, ~ 5 yr. (Feb. 2020) Jesse is a beautiful dog with a great personality. He has been living with a family for over a year but they are no longer able to take care of him. He is very affectionate with his people but has developed some alpha behaviors that make him feel like he is the protector of his people. Fortunately, he is a smart boy and he is learning the rules in the foster home in a respectful manner. He will need a family that has experience with dogs. He needs to be able to bond with the whole family and develop trust with each person through training. He needs consistent routine to help him know what to expect. With time and patience, he will be the perfect pet for someone that understands the nature of the breed - loyal, smart, and fond of children. The first step in our process is to submit an application for review. Once approved, we will contact you to arrange a meeting at our next Meet and Greet event. Our pets are fostered in private homes and will be brought to Frederick, MD to meet approved adopters.
