Update: April 2019. Trixie is 10 years old now. She is a medium size dog. She is house trained so is an indoor dog, but she loves to spend time outside when the weather is nice going on walks. She is crate trained too. Trixie has been spayed, and is up to date on her shots. Trixie now knows how to sit, walks good on a leash and loves to take walks. Once she gets to know you, she will protect you and be a friend for life. She can jump/climb a chain link fence, so her new home needs to have a 6 ft wood fence. Her adoption fee is $50. November 2008: Trixie was surrendered as a puppy to Animal Control, only to be attacked by a bigger dog. We just happened to be there taking pictures and saw that she was bleeding pretty bad, so we had to take her out of there and get her to the vet.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.

Looking for the perfect dog? Ameerah is as close as it comes. This itty bitty pitty is only about a year old, around 35-40 pounds, and incredibly smart. She is eager to please, easy to correct, and learning a lot in foster care. Ameerah is also affectionate with people, playful with other dogs, and even good around cats! She comes potty-trained, crate-trained, and leash trained. Ameerah is also doing very well with basic obedience and even learning to fetch. She doesn't bark, chew, or dig, but does enjoy nylabones, bully sticks, and Kongs stuffed with peanut butter.
