Story
We are so sad to introduce you to our sweet boy Rocco...His family has been going through some hard times and surrendered him to us in the hopes of giving him a better life. This poor boy cried for his former human as he walked away and got into the car and believe you me, it was gut wrenching. Even now, when we take him out, he is constantly looking towards the end of our driveway, hoping that the people he loved are there. UGH.We promised his family, and him, that we would find him the best, most loving lifetime home there is and we intend to do just that! Rocco is a 1.5 year old Bullmastiff mix, is neutered, UTD on shots and as sweet and loving as the day is long. He lived happily with 3 children and would do great with other dogs (a meet and greet is a must). The best cure for a broken heart is to fill it up with LOVE. He is getting loads of that here with us but know that he would be much happier with a family to call his own. Please, if Rocco is for you, come and meet him at the AWSOM shelter in Stroudsburg, PA, any day, from 11-4. If you have an existing dog or dogs, please call our staff at 570-421-3647 to arrange a meet and greet. If our boy is not meant for you, please share this with everyone you know to help us find the family that is.You can also begin the adoption process by completing our online preadoption application here: http://www.awsomanimals.org/index.php/adoptable-pets/adoptionprocess/preadoptionapplication
