Story
Petey is a senior beagle with tons of spunk! He was left behind tied to a tree, and sadly that tree was where he spent most of his life. Petey LOVES People and dogs his size. He has forgiven his past and is ready to live out his days the best way he can. He is a stereotypical beagle and needs a little work. He has a few old dog issues, but nothing that holds him back. He is smart and catches on quickly.

Story
Roxy is a sweet, adorable, black petite pit bull. She is an EXCELLENT people dog, but unfortunately for everyone in our home, including Roxy, we found out after we adopted her that she is not good with other dogs or bossy cats. Roxy is 11 years old. She spent 10 years of her life with a married couple who unfortunately had to rehome her due to a relocation. Things were good in the start, but over time it was clear she was tightly wound in our house. (She came from a home where she was the only pet... we have a toddler, a second dog, and 3 cats.) She was used to being around animals because she was pet sat by the lady who also owns the rescue from which we adopted her. I think the reason nobody anticipated any problems with the population in our house is because she was pet sat only temporarily and would go back to her quiet home after a few days. Now this is her daily life. She developed behavioral problems and needs a home where she is the only dog.
