Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. My name is Penny Sue.  I came into rescue with my companion Hunter Evan.  Haven to Home didn't have any fosters available that could take us both.  My wonderful family chose me because they figured I would fit into their home and family life.  Which I do!  I love sleeping in bed with my mom and dad, and also cuddling on the couch.  I love sunning myself on the patio, roaming around the fenced in yard, and watching the deer from the picture window with my canine brothers and sister. When I came into rescue, I had very little hair and I smelled pretty bad because I had a skin infection from having fleas.  My fosterfamily has taken such great care of me.  My haircoat is now deep chocolate and shiny.  I had large tumors removed from my body about 6 weeks ago--and now I feel really great.  I do take a canine NSAID daily to help with a little arthritis -- it helps me to feel young again.  If you can offer me a home similar to my foster home, maybe I could spend my life with you and be your loyal companion.  I live with cats but I'm not necessarily a fan.... I am up to date with vaccinations, I am spayed, and on heartworm/flea/tick preventative.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.FUN and SWEET!Daisy Lynn came to us from a breeding situation.  She will be 7 years old in June 2020.  Daisy is such a happy lovable girl.  She is leash trained and crate trained.  Her foster mom says she either sleeps in a crate in the bedroom with the crate door open, or on the bed with her.  Social butterfly is a good description for Daisy; she gets along with the other dogs in her foster home, loves toys and chewies and roaming around the fenced in yard. Daisy has been spayed and vaccinated.  She is on monthly heartworm/flea/tick preventative. Now Daisy just needs a home to call her own.  We think she'd do best in a home WITHOUT other dogs.  She does well in her foster home with other dogs, but did not do well in trial at an adoptive home.   She needs a FENCED in yard because she has spent most of her life in a cage and now LOVES the freedom a fenced in yard gives her.  She nees an active owner who will walk her, train her, love her and l challenge her mentally.  Daisy is just the sweetest!A fenced in yard will be given priority because Daisy just LOVES, LOVES, LOVES, to roam the yard.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet. Story

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Oh, Look, another black & white pibble.... *keeps scrolling* - STOP!   Kevin's not just another pretty face, you know.       Kevin is something straight out of a Disney movie!!  He is a compact-size mix of all things overly-affectionate and wiggly - a virtual cross between Toothless & Stitch.  He wants to be with his hoomans, but he can settle nicely in his crate with a chew.  Aside from an occasional Croc abduction,  (which he easily gives back when you catch him) - he won't destroy your house.  (I can't say the same for Toothless OR Stitch).   He's a lover of people - he will snuggle so close, no need for blankets!!  Kevin loves to keep you warm and cozy, but like a good man, he'll give you your space if you ask for it!!  He will just as easily curl up on a bed on the floor. He'll play with toys, with your shoes, with your kids, and with your other dogs.  Kevin is only 8-months young, and he can get a bit 'much' at times, so he'd do best in a home with even-tempered dogs who won't be easily rattled by his youthful exuberance.    Got leftovers?  Like Mikey, he'll like it.  Kevin's good for scarfing up anything you want to give him - and gently too.  He takes food treats like a gentleman, and he's not picky.  He loves mealtime, and is learning some manners like sitting politely, waiting his turn, and not bothering other dogs while they eat.  He has exhibited no food aggression, and he doesn't even counter-surf!    Kevin's adorable and rugged - good for both the ladies who want a little cuddly love bug and the manliest of men who are way too macho for a little frou-frou dog!!  He's the 'mini cooper' of pibbles, lots of power in a small package - You know you want one!!     Yes, he needs training, (Spoiler Alert:  ALL DOGS NEED TRAINING), but what he lacks in etiquette, you will get in love and eagerness to please you!  (And he is housebroken - entirely!)     Come get him folks.  He's a dream.  :)  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ Click here for the ADOPTION APPLICATION if you are interested in adopting this pet.
