Story
Oso means bear in spanish and that’s exactly what this sweetheart is; a big cuddly bear! Oso is an 8-year-old senior tripod who is super sweet and affectionate and great with kids and other dogs! He was unfortunately hit by a car and his owner let him go too long without seeking treatment so by the time he got to the shelter the damage was too much and they had to amputate his front left leg. He is a mixed breed dog who would love nothing more than to be spoiled and loved the rest of his life! We are looking for someone with a fenced in yard with someone who is almost always home to help him acclimate to his new life, country, home, language and weather! 😊 Oso comes from a shelter in Mexico that has difficulty adopting larger breed dogs and older dogs! We are very happy to be partnering up with them so that they can send us as many dogs as possible, therefore opening up a place in their shelter and thus being able to take more homeless dogs off the street and find them homes!

Story
Elvis is a sweet 10-11 year old mix who was unfortunately abandoned byb a drug addict at the shelter. He’s a bit fearful because he was probably mistreated by his old owner. He’s super passive and sweet and great with children, cats and dogs, he just needs to be in a place where the other animals or people aren’t going to aggress him because he’s super submissive and will just live in fear. We want for him to be adopted by someone willing to give him the best life possible for the time he has left! It could be a few months or a few years; he’s perfectly healthy but as a large breed senior his life span is normally between 12-15 years old, although there are always exceptions! A calm household would be ideal for him to feel safe! We are looking for someone with a fenced in yard with someone who is almost always home to help him acclimate to his new life, country, home, language and weather! Elvis comes from a shelter in Mexico that has difficulty adopting larger breed dogs and older dogs! We are very happy to be partnering up with them so that they can send us as many dogs as possible, therefore opening up a place in their shelter and thus being able to take more homeless dogs off the street and find them homes! Story
Bob was unfortunately born in a puppy mill and raised as a dog fighter. This poor sweet dog was never had his own loving family, although he was being fostered by the shelter owner for the past two and a half years, living with 3 small dogs and her 10-year-old daughter. Bob is better with females but still shouldn’t be in a home with dogs. He will defend himself if provoked and will attack the dog without warning. Bob is an extremely sweet dog but would do best in a home without any cats or dogs. He’s great with people and children and is very affectionate and obedient. Recently while on a walk another dog came to attack Bob by biting at his stomach, as soon as Bob defended himself and bit back the person walking Bob said “No” and Bob immediately retreated. Despite everything that Bob was put through because of a few horrible people, he is very fun loving and gets along great with everyone!

Story
Otto is a 1 and a half year old arrived at the shelter with extreme injuries. Unfortunately, he had been severely mutilated by his previous owners! You would never be able to tell that he had such a sad puppyhood because he is just the sweetest and most affectionate dog. He is described as noble and friendly. He’s great with children, people and other dogs and is very fun loving! Otto lived in a shelter in Mexico that was a house converted to a shelter. As he’s spent all his life outdoors, he may need help with toilet training and will need help with leash training. He’s an incredible dog looking for a family with all the love and patience to teach him how to become a “regular” dog. He has not been in a home with furniture or his own toys, as most dogs have.
