At under a year old, Peach still has a lot of energy and would do best in a home with a family able to provide her plenty of outlets to get her energy out. Luckily she is very treat motivated and smart, so we know she will shine when it comes to training! Story
Say hello to Wyatt! He is the happiest boy you will ever meet! Wyatt has the most adorable wiggle butt and absolutely can't contain his excitement every time someone enters his kennel. You can definitely see the Pointer in him; he will sometimes fixate on things in his surroundings and get in that Pointer stance. When out in play yards, he runs around with the most joyful hops! Some of you may recognize Wyatt from when he was with us last year. Unfortunately, he was recently brought back due to food reactivity. Wyatt's previous family shared that he was non reactive to the adults with his food bowl, but was reactive with their 12 year old son. When tested at the shelter, he was non reactive to us.You can't help but smile when you're around this cutie. Not only does Wyatt adore people, but he gets along well with other dogs. Wyatt genuinely loves his life and deserves to share that love with the perfect family! Wyatt is a Hound/Pointer mix, weighs 50 pounds, and was born on 5/13/2021. He is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and flea/tick/heartworm preventative. Wyatt must be an indoor dog, meaning he sleeps in the home setting and does not live outside. If you are interested in adopting Wyatt, please email bahshelter@yahoo.com. If there are other dogs in your home, we require a meet and greet. Meet and greets can schedule via email at bahshelter@yahoo.com. All of the current pets in your home must be spay/neutered and up to date on vaccinations.Thank you!

Story
This adorable little girl is Paulie! ?? Paulie was found dodging traffic and in very poor condition. Her fur was completely matted and she was very scared. Paulie seemed to not be used to human touch, and we can only imagine the loneliness she had previously experienced. Unable to bear the thought of Paulie being in the shelter setting after a life like that, one of our volunteer families took her in and have been fostering her for 4 months. She is now ready to find a patient and loving family to adopt her. Paulie will need a quiet family who will take their time with her and provide her with the support needed to get used to a new life. She is more comfortable around women and is still scared around the men in the foster home, even after 4 months. Paulie gets along well with their three small dogs and likes their rabbit and guinea pigs. She is house broken. With time, she has opened up a lot since first arriving with her foster family. Paulie loves to give kisses and gets excited when they come home. She's even gotten some happy zoomies a few times. While her fun personality has started to shine, she still gets nervous often and is ready for the perfect family who is understanding of her needs ??Paulie is a Miniature Poodle, weighs 8 pounds, and was born on 1/3/2014. She is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and flea/tick/heartworm preventative. Paulie must be an indoor dog, meaning she sleeps in the home setting and does not live outside. Story
Meet Teddy! This little cutie was found roaming around outside our gate. We can only imagine what life has been like for him! Teddy is a little shy when he first meets someone, but he warms up with some time. Once he opens up to you, you'll see that he loves to play and be the center of your attention!
