Issa

Border Collie Labrador Retriever

Female, 11 yrs 7 mos
Fair Oaks Ranch, TX
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Not good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
This special girl was rescued out of a greenbelt ditch with her sisters. Semi-feral and scared to death, they were eventually caught and brought to us. All pups would not let us touch them for the first few weeks, then progress began. Not trusting of humans they need a special home; experienced with feral dogs, quiet, no kids, not alot of visitors or sudden changes. Issa may never recover from the trauma she experienced in that ditch but that doesn't mean she does not deserve to find her forever home. She is not a normal dog- just speical. She needs to trust her person and not be expected to be perfect, affectionate or play. She walks well on a leash, loves other dogs, loves toys and blankets, and would love to be just be a dog. If you have the patience and love Issa needs give us a call, she may never be that snuggly, go-fetch girl but she is very goofy in her own way.

Just look at this face and tell me your heart doesn't melt- Born at our shelter, with 9 siblings, Rocky is just the sweetest boy. He quickly became the favorite of the shelter staff as his personality grew. He is very affectionate once he warms up to you and is very smart. Rocky is a good boy who loves to play with other dogs, toys and people. His favorite thing to do is give you big hugs while gazing into your eyes and a good belly rub. Rocky is a big love bug that would like nothing better than to have someone he can trust and be his best friend. He is about 60-70 lbs, has long legs and a great smile. Come visit this sweet boy and you will melt.

Story
This is Louie. A super sweet and energetic boy that was left at a vet clinic after being found by some good samaritans. They could not keep him but wanted to save him from the street. He is a handsome boy, and so so soft. Louie has the biggest personality, is VERY smart, loves toys, loves playing with other dogs and loves giving lots of kisses. Louie would make a great new family member for the right person; sadly he has grown up at our shelter and takes time to adjust to new things and new ppl. Give us a call for more details on how you can give this boy his furever home.

She gives great hugs and kisses to our staff but that is after 3 years of rehab. She walks well on a leash, loves other dogs, loves toys and blankets, and would love to be in a home to keep her safe. Bandit

Boxer

Male, Young
Fair Oaks Ranch, TX
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Not good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Bandit is a sweet 2-year-old Boxer, who loves to cuddle and considers himself a lap dog. He also likes to run outside in the yard and play catch, but he is, for the most part, a very quiet and calm dog around his human family. He lives with three other Boxers: his parents and his sister (from the same litter). We are looking to re-home our baby Bandit because he has not been getting along with his dog family as of lately - he has become aggressive and fought with them a few times already. He is a very anxious dog, nervous around new people, but once you get to know him and he gets to know you, he is the sweetest. This is why we believe that the best option for him now is to go to a new loving home where he can be the most spoiled member of the family. We would like for his new owner(s) to either be experienced with behavioral training or willing to put in the hours in order to help Bandit live a less stressful day-to-day life.
