Story
Meet Everest! He is a 2 yr old male Siberian Husky that weighs 77 lbs. He came into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 4/22 as a stray. He is a big fluffy boy that appears to have had his own loving family at one time, lived inside and may be housetrained. He enjoys having his face and ears rubbed and will give you such a big smile, and lets not forget he gives kisses too. Everest has a calm gentle loving personality that wants to be close and cuddly and will lay at your feet just to enjoy your company. He walks ok on a leash tho he does pull a bit at times. Walking past other dogs barking at him, he didn't show any interest. Be sure if you have another dog in the home to ask the shelter for a dog test. He would need to have a tall secured fence in the backyard so he can run and play in, but come back inside resting on his own dog bed. If you are familiar with the breed's needs and personality, then Everest would like to meet you!

Story
Meet Theo!He is a 2 yr old Siberian Husky mix that weighs 50 lbs. He came into theMesquite Animal Shelter as a stray on 4/23. He is a very handsome boy! Heenjoys going for walks and taking his time with all the different smells. Though hepulls a bit, he does well. He does take treats gently and I feel he ishousetrained. He has been well cared for and appears to have been an indoorpup. He is a sweet boy that enjoys being petted and loved on. He enjoys meetingnew people and will greet them with a hug and a kiss. Theo can't wait to meethis own loving family that understands the breed and has a secured tall fencedyard to run and play in, but most importantly he lives indoors where he canenjoy the company of his human companions. Though he didn't show any interest inother dogs, we do ask if you have another dog in the home to please ask theshelter for a dog test. Theo loves to meet people and would make a great familycompanion. Come meet this great boy, you will not be disappointed.

Story
Meet Indigo! He is a 1 yr old neutered male Siberian Husky that weighs 54lbs. He came into the Mesquite Animal Shelter on 4/12 as a stray. This sweet gentle boy is very handsome! With all the different smells and noise of other dogs barking can make a pup uncomfortable. We are letting Indigo take his time to realize that we are here to help him feel better, and look forward to finding his own loving home. He enjoys resting on his own dog bed surrounded with stuffed and squeaky toys. Being petted and given treats made him happy. He finds comfort in his kennel, and is learning it is ok to walk with us on a leash. We will continue to spend time with him, and complete another evaluation soon to show his progress. If this sweet boy pulls at your heartstrings like he does ours and you can offer him the loving home he deserves please come spend time with him.
