Story
~~Although we do our very best to make sure your new pup is in tiptop health before adoption, things could drastically change a month later.  Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam and follow up exams.~ Health: ***** She came in with an injury to her cruciate ligament.  She had surgery on February 24th to repair it and has healed very well.  No other obvious issues found during vet exam ***** Temperament: -- She is a darling girl with the prettiest blue eyes.  She is sweet and loving and looking for someone who will not abuse her.  She does better with smaller dogs than big dogs.  She is great with kids and nice strangers.   She even gets along with cats if they don't freak out at the sight of her.   Husky's are job-driven dogs.  She needs lots of exercise and training or she will become self employed.  Make sure she doesn't end up sitting alone in your back yard because you don't have enough time to walk her.  A brief walk around the block is not going to cut it.   Where did she come from:  She was found sitting on the side of the road.  She had an injury and could not walk.  Her neck had rope burns that were pretty deep and bleeding.  Her legs and feet were in very rough shape.  She jumped right inside the cab of a truck that belongs to one of our volunteers.  No one has reclaimed her and we are just fine with that.  Adoption: ***** $200.00 plus tax***** Weight: 52 lbs.
