Story
A playful pup with a prizewinning personality! This pretty pup was found by a good Samaritan and brought to FFL to start the search for her forever home. She is starting to show off her upbeat personality in foster care and is looking forward to meeting her new family so she can really experience what it’s like to be home at last. Perfect pal! Portia will be your best friend. She adores her humans and wants to spend every minute she has with them! Whether following her buddies around or cuddling up during breaks from her active lifestyle, Portia is happiest as long as she is with the people she loves the most. Perky and peppy! This playful pup is very active and loves to have a great time! Whether entertaining herself with her favorite toys or playing with her pals, Portia loves to be on-the-go. With Portia, plenty of stimulation and appropriate outlets for her energy are vital. She is full of bright, bouncy energy and will undoubtedly keep you on your toes in the best possible way! Praiseworthy progress! Learning to trust and listen to her new friends has been this cutie’s biggest challenge. This smart cookie has been working on crate training, leash training, and all sorts of tricks! So far Portia is learning to stay calm in the crate when left alone, to walk on a leash without getting too excited, to sit before she gets a toy, and to enjoy her calmer moments in the day. Portia would love a family ready to pick up where her foster leaves off and continue with her training. She would thrive in a home willing to be patient with her during this adjustment period as she grows into the dog she was always meant to be. Does Portia sounds like the perfect pick for you? Come meet this precious pupper today!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. One handsome, funny, easy going COWBOY.  Our vet estimates his DOB approximately March 2019. He loves playing with his foster siblings and lounging in his kiddy pool to keep cool.   He is leash, crate and house trained and is becoming such a gentleman in the house.  Cowboy enjoys ridding shot gun in the van, checking out all the sites.  Cowboy would  make a great hiking buddy as he loves to explore.  And of course, the beach or lake would be his idea of doggy heaven.  The family we are looking for is one that will have time to continue with his puppy training.  He is going to doggy day care and is doing great with all the dogs and people.   Not suited for small children or toddlers or small dogs--due to size.  Please fill out our online application or email Socosaves@gmail.com     ~~All of our dogs are spayed/ neutered before adoption. Adult dogs have had their core vaccines; parvo, distemper, bordatella, rabies, and puppies have had a series of four vaccines.  All dogs are tested and are heartworm negative.  In addition they have been de-wormed and kept on heartworm prevention and flea prevention while in foster care. All  dogs come with a micro-chip already implanted. Adoption fees are 250.00.  Many times the adoption fee does not even cover the cost of all of the vetting we have done for a dog.  Our dogs are all fostered in private homes at various locations; We do not have a facility.  WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR GOOD FOSTER HOMES. YOU MIGHT EVEN WANT TO CONSIDER FOSTERING A DOG YOU ARE INTERESTED IN.  Contact leeselman@comcast for more info on fostering.   Please contact the person listed in the bio for more information on a particular dog. We are very careful in placing our dogs and look for the best home for each dog.  Thank you for considering a rescued pet and we look forward to helping you find a great dog match.   Please email leeselman@Comcast.net for an application or the person listed under the dog you are interested  in.
