Story
A playful pup with a prizewinning personality! This pretty pup was found by a good Samaritan and brought to FFL to start the search for her forever home. She is starting to show off her upbeat personality in foster care and is looking forward to meeting her new family so she can really experience what it’s like to be home at last. Perfect pal! Portia will be your best friend. She adores her humans and wants to spend every minute she has with them! Whether following her buddies around or cuddling up during breaks from her active lifestyle, Portia is happiest as long as she is with the people she loves the most. Perky and peppy! This playful pup is very active and loves to have a great time! Whether entertaining herself with her favorite toys or playing with her pals, Portia loves to be on-the-go. With Portia, plenty of stimulation and appropriate outlets for her energy are vital. She is full of bright, bouncy energy and will undoubtedly keep you on your toes in the best possible way! Praiseworthy progress! Learning to trust and listen to her new friends has been this cutie’s biggest challenge. This smart cookie has been working on crate training, leash training, and all sorts of tricks! So far Portia is learning to stay calm in the crate when left alone, to walk on a leash without getting too excited, to sit before she gets a toy, and to enjoy her calmer moments in the day. Portia would love a family ready to pick up where her foster leaves off and continue with her training. She would thrive in a home willing to be patient with her during this adjustment period as she grows into the dog she was always meant to be. Does Portia sounds like the perfect pick for you? Come meet this precious pupper today!

Story
I am currently fostering this sweet pup, I found her wandering my apartment building. She seems to weigh around 20-25 pounds. We will be going to the vet this week and I will update information as I have it. I have two other dogs that she plays well with. She has not tried to jump on any of the furniture thus far. She slept peacefully next to my bed and had no issues going outside this morning to potty. When I left for work I left her in the kennel and she cried for a minute then didnt seem to mind it. I have no idea what breed she is.

Story
Cara was dumped off by my in laws house. My mother in law took her in but could not keep her. We took her in and fell in love with her. She is about 2 years old. She loves to play outside with her paw brother Teddy(Whom we are also trying to rehome) they play well together and with other dogs. They both require a lot of attention as they have a lot of energy. Would be nice if they have a huge fenced in yard or several acres to play on. Cara loves to run and stretch those legs. I think she would be a good hunting type dog if trained properly. She loves to play fetch and tug o war. She loves the scratches behind the ears. She’s a great cuddler and guard dog. I hate to get rid of her but our family has grown and they both require a lot of attention that we cannot give them anymore. We feel like they are being neglected and don’t think it is fair for them. We want them to be in a happy home running and playing like they should.
