Bear is still much a puppy at 15 months old. He is a little mellow, but does love to play. He was found as a stray and ended up in a high kill shelter. He is obedient, and learns fast. He likes his walks and days at the park. Bear has a tender soul and will bond closely with his people. He will probably be about 70-75 pounds. He is good on a leash and loves to cuddle. He often thinks he is a Chihuahua. Bear is a very special boy, and will make the perfect companion. He is neutered, current on all vaccinations, heart worm negative and has a micro chip.

NOTES FROM THE FOSTER FAMILY: Ryder is an adoption return through no fault of his own. He has had a hard time adjusting without his family. He is house broken, crate trained, walks well on a leash & gets along with other dogs. He enjoys trips to the dog park as he is used to having a large area to roam. Ryder will need a very quiet, patient home with lots of decompression time. Someone who can take their time with him & bring him out of his shell. He craves attention but is too afraid to ask for it. If you are interested in meeting any of our pets, please email us and we can get you an application. We can then review and send to the foster family. We may cancel our home visits as well but if you could attach photos of your yard and one or two of your home that would be great. In lieu of the visit this would allow us to meet you and allow you to meet the pet and conduct a possible adoption either outside your home or at a public place where safe distancing can occur.

We took my Brothers Black Mouth Cur in when he died. He lived out in the country in Louisiana, so Lucy is not used to the city. She is 5 years old and keeps jumping our 4' chain link fence and getting out. It also looks like she might be allergic to something in our back yard because she has this itching thing sometimes. Lucy is a perfect people dog. Very loving and sweet so she will be great around small children and people. She likes barking at cars and chasing squirrels and rabbits. We are hoping someone in the country or someone with a big back yard with 6 or 8 ft high privacy fence will take her. Please be advised this dog is free to a good home, but we must be able to tell she is going to a good place so be ready to answer a lot of questions before we give her away. Thank you for looking.
